Don’t intend to trust him. He is a name-dropper and self-promoter, using conservatism as his vehicle. I put him in the same bin as Peggy Noonan.

A local conservative said awhile ago that the issue wasn’t left versus right but inside versus outside.

Hugh is a former never Trumper???

There are only 3 types of Never Trumpers in the talk radio biz.

1) Those who have had an epiphany and suddenly believe Trump is the greatest thing since top-of-the-hour station breaks (Hewitt, Mark Levin, etc.)

2) Those whose shows have been canceled and are now manning the Burger King drive-thru.

3) Those who have been exiled to 300-watt stations in deep-blue markets like Seattle (Michael Medved)

It’s surprising that the term “Republicans” is still being used. Constitution-respecting republicans became extinct generations ago imo.

Patriots need to elect new patriot lawmakers in 2020 elections that will not only promise to fully support PDJT’s vision for KAG, but will also promise to respect the federal government’s express, constitutionally limited powers, particularly the fed's limited power to tax.

"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." --Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

I suspect the notion of "NeverTrumper" is now moot.

I suspect now he's not so much pro-Ttump as anti-coup.

He is right though. If they fail to support Trump the GOP Going Out of Business Sale starts 48 hours later.

I can’t, in all honesty, call myself a Republican anymore. Conservative? Yep. Proudly so. Republican? What republic? The one the non-Dems are trying their best to give away to the highest bidder in the name of globalism?

I just wonder and, yeah, worry, about who there’ll be to support after President Trump.

The base will stay home, or more likely, vote Trump and abandon the rest of the ticket.

If Trump is elected in 2020 he needs to change the name of the party...pick anything but GOP..

And he should demand new leadership in the Senate..and House if we have both.

I sent money to Cruz.
All he did was someone on his team leaked my name to the Austin IRS office and got a letter demanding I give them 4k.

It was real letter but someone in the Austin IRS office manually edited my return.
A call to them with a canceled check to the IRS proved they fabricated it.

It came three weeks after I sent a donation to Cruz.

I lay the TOTAL BLAME of losing the house at Lyin Ryan’s feet this bastard lost the house deliberately plain and simple a jealous little POS!!!

I am trying to remain calm about the fact that egotistical, self-serving GOP pols think abandoning President Trump is ok.

As others have said, Senators each believe they are better than any current president and have the right to be president themselves. And a right to the DC elitist lifestyle forever. Egomania.

Problem: When we voters protest that and take it out on the GOP, the left will flourish and dominate us for the rest of this century. No ID needed at any polling place, free everything for any illegal aliens, Medicare gone replaced by new single payer. Reparations deductions for all non persons of color.

What 10-30% support Libertarian,GOP, New Conservative,Independent candidates will defeat a 55% support lockstep Dem-Socialist candidate? Like Israel,Canada and France we will have a fractured political landscape but know the media,Soros and Dem-Socialists will rule over it.

Maybe, just maybe, the AOC-Black Caucus-Tlaib-Bernie wing vs. some wimpy Biden wing. But probably just unity all the way.

I know, that’s how the Romneys,Flakes and other RINOs started their careers. “You shoulda seen the other guy—you don’t want me to vote for a Dem, do ya?”

The big question is other than efforts to primary the RINOs, what are our options? Don't vote? Third Party? Vote Democrat? None of these options produce positive results. Apparently neither does voting Republican.

Reminds me of a Kurt Vonnegut novel. Where Martians begin an invasion of Earth. The space ships have only two controls.

An "on" button and an "off" button. The "on" button activates the automated flight controls and sends the space ship to its preplanned destination. The "off" button does nothing. But gives the occupants the illusion that they have some control over the process.

Pretty much describes our electoral process.

Democrats are the "on" button.

Republicans are the "off" button.
