Editor’s Note: This is the first of two profiles of candidates for Kentucky attorney general.

Daniel Cameron, the Republican nominee for Kentucky attorney general, is young and lacks much courtroom experience as a lawyer. But he has waged an aggressive political campaign this year with an endorsement from President Donald Trump, who is popular across the state, and conservative stands on highly charged social issues like immigration and abortion.

“Daniel Cameron supports Trump’s border wall,” declares the narrator in one of Cameron’s television commercials. “I’m proud to be 100 percent pro-life,” the candidate himself says in another.

I would say "can you believe this garbage headline"?! but of course you can.

The bias/Democrat activism of the Lexington Herald-Leader on full display at Kentucky.com - the headline for the Democrat Greg Stumbo is: "‘It’s a passion.’ Stumbo wants to be KY attorney general again to fight Big Pharma." Not "Meet the man Hillary Clinton and Alison Lundergan Grimes want to be Kentucky's Attorney General" in similar fashion to what they did to Daniel Cameron - trying to spark negative responses from Trump and McConnell haters that probably make up the bulk of their readership.

Drive-by media hit in action - compare it to the headline for Stumbo.

Anybody the Herald-Leader dislikes can’t be all bad. Mr. Cameron has my vote for sure.

Well to me, it’s a plus if DT and MM like him, but of course I see your point.
