Partisan political division and the resulting incivility has reached a low in America, with 67% believing that the nation is nearing civil war, according to a new national survey.
“The majority of Americans believe that we are two-thirds of the way to being on the edge of civil war. That to me is a very pessimistic place,” said Mo Elleithee, the executive director of Georgetown University’s Institute of Politics and Public Service.
And worse, he said in announcing the results of the Institute’s Battleground Poll civility survey, the political division is likely to make the upcoming 2020 presidential race the nastiest in modern history.

You have half the country that can’t even agree on what was considered consensual reality until a few years ago, that doesn’t bode well for social order.
Peace is the presence of justice, not the absence of visible conflict.
The philosophical divisions in the country are unsustainable. I wish I as as sanguine about how close we are to a potential solution as the majority of those in a poll.
I think that the entire west is going the way of the proverbial frog in the pot of water that is being heated to a boil.

You won’t have to do much but sit back and watch. The food and energy for blue areas comes from red areas. Stop it all and the city populants turn on each other as starving animals would.

Is it a civil war when the Democrat thieves do everything they can to keep the police from putting them in jail?
Precisely. This is not a civil war. It is a war against insurgency by anti Constitutionalists, that is, by Communists and corrupt plutocrats who have gained immeasurable wealth under color of office.
Globalists puppet masters are hard at work using the media and every political sellout to push full steam ahead. They were so close to their aspirations coming to fruition and simply cannot let Trump get in the way of their plans.
Divide and conquer! So they use all these wedge issues driving us apart. When it’s possible (not easy) to have an actual adult conversation with folks on the other side, find out that there’s still more we have in common than apart.
