Pelosi is planning on ramming through an impeachment vote against President Trump by Christmas in the US House of Representatives. They have no crime defined but they are determined to find one in their secret meetings.
The US Senate would then take up the impeachment proceedings.
Tom Fitton says McConnell should reject this coup attempt outright.

There is nothing to map out. There has been 2 impeachment trials before and they were over in a matter of DAYS. Andrew Johnson’s impeachment trial was over in THREE DAYS on 11 articles.

Either Mitch or a reporter said that moving impeachment forward a few notches would be good for the election prospects of a number of Republicans up for reelection because they need to show they are open minded regarding what Trump might have done and would like to see evidence made public.

mcconnell is there via an election and via voters who he is supposed to serve. Did he ask the people if they wanted him to sit down with the left side and the side that is going outside the legal line.. outside the constitution.. and not asking what the people want.
If mcconnell wanted to do something good for the country.. do a shut down of the media.
