Pelosi is planning on ramming through an impeachment vote against President Trump by Christmas in the US House of Representatives. They have no crime defined but they are determined to find one in their secret meetings.
The US Senate would then take up the impeachment proceedings.

No, he is the majority leader and he DOES NOT need to sit down and map things out. He can simply specify how it will go. Here’s the beauty of it. If Schumer doesn’t like his plan, his only alternative is a filibuster to shut it down.
The dems have zero power in this instance. It isn’t the Repubs needing to get something they want and needing a 60 vote margin. It is the other way around. The only power the senate minority has is the power to shut it down... which is what WE want anyway.

McConnell is already selling out POTUS. The GOP Senate will never remove Trump but want his so wounded he loses at the ballot box in 2020. So they continue to green light the coup.
The GOP as an institution will be held accountable for its role in this coup. Of that I am certain.
