There is nothing to map out. There has been 2 impeachment trials before and they were over in a matter of DAYS. Andrew Johnson’s impeachment trial was over in THREE DAYS on 11 articles.
They are talking as if this will go on for WEEKS. This is BS!
I’m sure they’ll reference “precedence”, but I highly doubt they will pass up the opportunity to get as much camera face time as possible, as they always do, by stretching this out as long as possible, just like the Mueller nonsense.
Particularly the left, and I have little doubt that McConnell will deny them their attempts at self aggrandizement. He expects reciprocity in the future. If not for himself, then for those who follow. Isn’t that their nature, regardless of which “side” they’re on?
