Defense: Now then, you testified that President Trump removed the ambassador after a phone call wherein he requested the President of Ukraine to investigate both alleged interference in the 2016 election and the manner in which VP Biden’s son happened to be appointed to a company in Ukraine, is that correct?
Witness: accurate assessment.
Defense: Now then, since the President was within his rights under the Constitution to remove an ambassador at any time and since he was acting upon what appeared to be violations of US law when he allegedly asked the President of Ukraine to investigate both the lead up to the election and the apparent conflict of interest with Biden’s son, what is it you believe he did wrong.
Witness: Well, it is not a matter of doing wrong, we just need impeach him.
Defense: Who is we?
Witness: I take the fifth.
Defense: Your honor, I move this testimony shows there is no basis for impeachment and in the matter of justice, I recommend this matter be ruled as dismissed.
Roberts: So be it. Everyone is excused except the witness, the speaker of the house who brought these charges, representative Schiff. I direct the sergeant at arms to hold them until a determination can be made by the Attorney General as to whether they will face charges of sedition, obstruction of the lawful functions of the executive branch, and deprevation of rights under color of law. NBC News needed FOUR REPORTERS to transcribe testimony obviously leaked by Democrats because they’re the only ones allowed in the hearing room and since one or two names would then have their reputations questioned when these surface as outright lies, NBC gets FOUR Reporters to report the story so that none of them can be held accountable for it.
