I would add, not just the kid, but the dad will be scared for life too.

I can remember when I was about five, my aunt, uncle, and nieces and nephew came down for a visit. The nieces had dolls. When they left to go back home, I spent about an hour thinking I wished I had a doll too.
Imagine today. With some of these leftist parents, I’d have been on a psychiatrist’s couch being fitted for a miniature guillotine.
The father is a sperm donor. What is his relationship to the mother who had the eggs donated?

The mom is not the birth mom. She had donated eggs and a rent a uterus brought in for the deed. Now you understand why she is willing to torture her designer baby. No sane mother would do this to a child she birthed.
If someone attacks someone over a principled stand over an issue then they cease to be someone who doesn't care. They become activists opposing that issue.
Perhaps if we had had fewer activists on Free Republic supporting politicians advancing this issue there might be a question as to how we got here.
But in reality there is no question whatsoever how we got here, and you can search this site for threads sourced to Massresistance during Romney's Governorship and look at how much participation there was and what was said to see a picture that makes it all oh so clear.
Germans have a term for what we are witnessing. Zeitgeist, aka Spirit of the Times. History shows just how deranged entire populations can become by ideas that only in hindsight can be understood as deranged. These gender bending wars too will pass, but, as history also shows, be very careful until it does. They, after all, are quite literally deranged and pretty much quite capable of anything.

Having lived there, I would recommend Taiwan. But then you’d have to learn the language. But there are American English Speaking schools there, and the young folks are very eager to pick up English.

this is what i would do. If i had to stand by and watch this happen i would eventually take drastic action to prevent it, and i don’t mean taking him out of the country.
THe problem is, if you are leaving the country they will stop you at the airport with your kids unless you have written consent from their other parent to leave. I saw this happen with a guy I worked with. His wife was making their yearly pilgrimage to Greece and he was going to catch up to her in a couple weeks. THey were both archaeologists and had been going to Greece to dig every summer for almost a decade. This time he forgot to do the form and had to scramble to get it signed, notarized, and to the airport before their flight left.
This wouldn’t be happening (yet) if obama were never potus.
It’s pretty easy to get out of the US via ground travel.
But honestly, the answer is not to leave the country. It is to remove the mother’s authority - by whatever means necessary. The courts, of course, would be the first resort. That’s “plan A”.
And he did plan A and it failed. He may have to move on to plan B, and maybe even plan C.
Women are, in general (and realizing that this overly general statement leaves out a huge cohort of women who are not), much more pro-gay...and I suspect more pro-tranny and other form of queer than men generally are. It’s a 60-40 thing.
I see this in my own family, which may taint my viewpoint. They seem more susceptible to the arguments of “fairness” and lack hard certainty of right vs. wrong...there is more ambiguity in their views, even if they are generally conservative.
At this point I don’t know how that can be dealt with. generally, I think that a society must at some point completely collapse into violence, poverty and chaos before it can be righted again by force. A very long process. I doubt that many of us alive today will see the final outcome of it.
