On Hannity Monday night, Donald Trump made a statement about prominent media outlets that under any other administration may have come as a surprise. The Trump administration has long had a combative relationship with the media, in particular the New York Times and the Washington Post, and Trump told Sean Hannity he may terminate the outlets from the White House altogether.
They gave Pulitzer Prizes to people that got it wrong, OK? Trump said. All these people doing it for the New York Times, which is a fake newspaper, we dont even want it in the White House anymore. Were gonna probably terminate that and the Washington Post. Theyre fake.
This wouldnt be an unprecedented move as last November CNNs Jim Acosta briefly had his White House press credentials revoked following a contentious press conference. But, as Trump and Hannity lamented the lack of media coverage on the debunked yet oft-repeated conspiracy theory about the Bidens and Ukraine, Trump assured Hannity that he doesnt see all media in the same light.

I agree 100% and it's been this way since Nixon days (at least). Republican presidents are treated horribly with little respect and Democrat presidents get their asses kissed and lobbed nothing but softball questions.
As well, having the media camped at the WH is no longer necessary in this age of social media. This hearkens back to a day when the president had limited reach to the American people.
Today, the president can reach tens of millions of people instantly with one Tweet, for example, which then quickly gets retweeted and cascaded throughout all other media portals. The president is constantly taking media questions at public appearances which then get quickly embedded into social media streams which reaches the American people almost instantly.
The WH Press Corps are dinosaurs of a bygone era. Time to shut it down.
Then end the questions and walk away.
Yep
Terminate with extreme prejudice. :)

Hey Yahoos- you never mentioned obama’s ‘long term feud’ with fox news where he was constantly whining about the station- why is that ya hypocrites?
The Terminator!
I hope Trump starts terminating these enemies of the Republic soon. Indict them. Arrest them. Lock them up.
Remember that university study indicating news outlets political bias, on both sides? Here’s the fix for future White House press conferences:: the top 33% of left-leaning outlets, AND the top 33% of right-leaning outlets, will no longer be permitted to attend. That means the remaining attendees 33% (middle of the road) will report for the nation.
Agreed, kick them all out, every last one of them. Tell them if we need you will call you, otherwise we will tweet or release press statements to you since you obviously couldn’t tell the truth to save you out of hell.
I’ve never subscribed to the NYT because I’ve never lived there. I subscribed to the Washington ComPost for about 5 years after being assigned to Washington, DC and then dropped it for the Washington Times until it closed down.
Lynch them! Figuratively, of course.
No, I meant the Washington Times. As it existed under the “Moonie church” until it ended its subsidies to the Wash Times. I don’t remember how long ago, it started cutting back on its printed distribution area and one day it stopped arriving at my house near Andrews AFB, Maryland.
They announced that all subscriptions outside the beltway were being terminated. Within a year, it completely closed down and that was about 2009-10. I don’t remember when it was reopened by someone else but it was a couple of years later.
The current Washington Times is a re-start from a few years ago, but after 2010.
In the meantime the Washington Examiner began as a conservative paper that was initially free at all of the Metro subway train stops and in boxes downtown. And then the Examiner stopped the print edition and went all digital.

Didn’t know that!
I didn’t subscribe to either paper, so paid little attention to them.
