Fox News’ Tucker Carlson tonight called out Senator Lindsey Graham for not delivering more on what he has stated publicly about looking into the origins of the Russia investigation.
He showed a clip of Graham saying months ago, “We’re going to call them all before the committee. Did they try to involve the 25th amendment to take the president down? Did they get a warrant against an American citizen using information that they know was flawed? Did they taint the Clinton email investigation because they are afraid that if they indicted her she would lose the election and they wanted her to win? You’re going to get answers to that to the best I can give them to you.”
“So far,” Carlson remarked, “Graham’s tenure has been defined by total inaction. He has subpoenaed neither McCabe nor Rosenstein, nor has he launched an investigation. Now his inaction extends to the Ukraine saga as well.”

I believe President Trump’s intention all along has been to let the Left do their worst while he bravely goes about the business of making America great again.
He knows the American people are witnessing the ugliness of the Left’s relentless attempt at political assassination and the blatantly dishonest coverage by the media.
He knows the American people see these bullshit “investigations” for what they really are: the unconstitutional weaponization of government institutions for political purposes.
He knows that the Democrats will pay dearly for it, because politics is meant to be decided by the voters in elections, not by political witch hunts. The people will punish the Democrats for this.
He knows that even though he is innocent and they are guilty, it would be a huge mistake for him to do what his enemies have done - weaponize his executive powers to engage in counter investigations - it’s better to keep his hands clean, tough it out, and let the American people mete out the sentence in 2020.
He knows that if he focuses on keeping his campaign promises, and putting America first, the American people will rise to his defense by re-electing him in 2020.
I believe that is why he has continually instructed his people to stand down - he wants it left up to the voters, the way it should have been all along.

Graham mouthed the right words long enough to dissuade any conservative from challenging him in the primary. Now he feels safe for 2020 so its back to his swamp rat self.

This. Exactly this. I am sick and tired of whiney little punks constantly griping about how President Trump has not wiped out the entire Deep State on their personal timelines.
My question for all of them is: what have *you* done to support our President?
The man takes an incessant barrage of incoming 25/8. That’s on top of having the world’s toughest job. None of the whinebags would last three minutes in President Trump’s shoes.
From his posting history, we’ll probably have to wait a month to find out who VSG is.

Every time I begin to think that perhaps Lindsey is somehow dependable, I realize that he is a loose cannon.
