Worse than that, around 75% of the public is guessing - they know so little, they can’t form a strong opinion - their votes are up for grabs - they may as well be flipping a coin.
Fortunately, that 75% is so random it splits down the middle - they are leaving it up to the opinionated 25%.
That is why popular votes in a two way race tend to be so close - and a 60/40 split is viewed as a landslide. Most voters are so low info that they are literally guessing - their votes are random - they cancel each other out.

Interesting quote. Personally, I think we are much closer to a seriously dangerous outcome than most people think. When the curtains really do come down, it's not going to be pretty at all.
