The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) review into the origins of the Russian collusion hoax probe has reportedly prompted some CIA analysts in the crosshairs of investigators to lawyer up.
NBC News made the revelation on Monday, adding that DOJ has found something significant and expanded the review.
The news outlet also found: [Connecticut U.S. Attorney John] Durham has also requested to talk to CIA analysts involved in the intelligence assessment of Russias activities, prompting some of them to hire lawyers, according to three former CIA officials familiar with the matter. And there is tension between the CIA and the Justice Department over what classified documents Durham can examine, two people familiar with the matter said.
U.S. Attorney General William Barr has tapped Durham to conduct the investigation.
DOJ would not say whether the investigation has morphed into a criminal probe, NBC News acknowledged.

well, you can think what you think, and I will continue to think of Trump as brilliant and always 10 steps ahead of the liberals.
Great news! They think they've got something big.
Freep mail me to be on the “perp walk” ping list. Low volume ping list at the moment.
“Four must have changes to rein in the traitors:
1. Abolish FISA Court. Secret courts have no place in justice.
2. Domestic spying by CIA is already illegal. Punishment must cruel and unusual.
3. Counterintelligence by FBI has to be severely cut back.
4. More oversight of both CIA and FBI.”
After the Church committee, FISA was created for the sole reason of exercising heavy oversight of the CIA and FBI. Instead, they were able to take over the FISA and hide their activity.
But this wouldnt be done in a political environment such as an appearance before a committee; there would (presumably) be criminal indictments announced. At that point, facing prison time, these kinds of obfuscations would go right out the window, if for no other reason than because their (expensive) legal counsel would be patiently explaining to them that they were about to go up the river for a long time, and that it would be in their best interest to do exactly what the man says.
Real prosecutors lineup ducks duck after dark after dark after dark after duck gets warren sign affidavits and all kinds of things lined up before they indict especially higher ups
In this case the entire media is going to be running complete interference for Brennan comey clapper Obama in any of these idiots so the case asked to be airtight before its brought
These witnesses are not going to be cooperative at all as this article indicates and are not going to give up any information readily
Thats the process Hass to go through strong arming wind against another in order for incriminating statements to be lined up
If and when you see indictment to these people you will know that they already have convictions certified
Of course you cant try anything in the district of criminals or they will all get off
We shall see.
And that right there should give pause. In fact, it should prompt the thought: "who do these people work for?"
If the IG report is in classified material ‘review’, it’s been leaked to all of them.
Heres something to think about ... Does anyone think it was a mere coincidence that President Trumps phone conversation with the Ukrainian president took place ONE DAY after Muellers pathetic performance in his testimony before the House committee?

+++++
I’m no FISA court fan but the alternative is probably worse. There are legitimate occasions when you need to spy on an American - when you have a real American citizen spying for the Russians or the Chinese or whoever.
There needs to be strict controls on that, someway to avoid the political abuse that we have seen over the last 4 years. Right now it looks like we have a Rubber Stamp called FISA COURT. That has to end. If that can’t be done then I would take your position. No more spying directly on Americans.
And if he is re-elected, the speed bump will be eight years instead of four.
The cure lies with the people, and they aren't willing.
“If he is not reelected,...”
That would be an unmitigated disaster.
Observing the vigor of his rallies, I can’t imagine he’d get defeated, but he’s got a very unscrupulous enemy with full coffers and a large army of mindless drones.
We ought to take NOTHING for granted.
Inauguration Day 2025 is for ALL the marbles.
C m liddl wangs? C m b d is?
L, I b! M r ducks!
Yes, I said 2025.
If Trump doesn’t carry it in 2020, the odds of anyone remotely Conservative winning in 2024 fade to a desperately tiny margin.
We’ve got to think for the LONG game, here; not just the next series of downs.
Seems to me FISA did exactly what it was designed to do, fool the public that the government is capable of self-restraint or following the constitution.
When the fiascoes of recent are exposed, the Congress will pass even more laws to enable and hide malfeasance - and Congress is clever, the new laws will include fake criminal penalties.
Investigating the key players. A novel idea. Next, Barr and Durham will try eating cereal with spoons.
Agreed. And even if he gets reelected, he will still be a speed bump. It isn’t really possible to change the culture in such a short time nor is it possible to change the government culture in such a short time. I once thought it was possible, but from what has happened in the first term has dissuaded me of any confidence much can really change.
Are taxpayers paying for their lawyers?
If so...why?

Really? Is that Mueller did? He had perjury traps, indictments and guilty pleas in months. Where there is a will, there is a way.
