Latest Polling Indicates Kamala Harris’ Campaign Has Cratered in Iowa

Harris is at the stage in her campaign where a senior adviser who sees the writing on the wall should advise her to consider bowing out gracefully

Harris, who polled at 18% in Iowa after the first debate when she went toe to toe with Joe Biden, now stands at a measly 2% in the crucial first caucus state...

Her low numbers in Iowa are in addition to her poor showing in key primary states like South Carolina, New Hampshire, and even her home state of California.

The news from Emerson was no doubt a devastating blow for the Harris campaign, which made it a point in mid-September to announce they were going all-in on finishing strong in Iowa. “We want to make sure that we have a strong top-three finish,” her campaign manager Juan Rodriguez said at the time.

Harris was even overheard telling fellow Democratic Senator Mazie Hirono that she was “f***ing moving to Iowa”...

I worry about Warren in that if she (God forbid) were nominated, we'd have to listen to that shrill *itch for the whole campaign. I would suspect most of the nation would despise her in time. She's a know-it-all liberal eastcoaster who lied her way into grabbing that status.

I wouldn't mind a Buttiwieg/Gabbard ticket. It might be time to hand it to their generation. Let them figure out the mess they'll inherit and have to live with for decades.

I'm not anti-Trump. I'm anti-Republican Party. There are so many Republican traitorous creeps in the US Senate that it's tough to cheer for them.

She has a great voice. When she knows her subject, she seems like she’s in command and competent. Then she reaches a point when she’s in over her head and she throws out non sequiturs and the facade is shattered.

She’s not ready for prime time...and may never be.

Never had a shot in Iowa. And in the tank in Cali. Only prayer for her would be to pull huge black vote in South Carolina and/or Super Tuesday... but she’s not connecting with them from anything I have seen.

I guess pulling a train won’t help her this time, either.

I thought it would be Harris and Buttigieg as the big D-Team due to all the “intersectionality” that is supposedly all the rage with leftists these days.

Both seem to have lost a lot of traction with their base lately.

Yeah, there isn’t nearly enough competition going on between them all. Every one them should be in 4-6% range! We can’t let Joe or Bernie nor even Warren have it “just because.”

I dunno -- maybe going "all-out" in Iowa has given Iowans a chance to listen to her enough times to know that she is not presidential or electable.

Of course, I don't think any of them are; but, if she is going all out, and her numbers are dropping, she just might not be connecting with people.

In her home state of California, Harris tumbled from 19% in July to 8% in September.
