FULL TITLE: 'God knows why': Long wait for DOJ inspector general report on alleged FISA abuses vexes Trump allies
Conflicting signals surround the classification review for the Justice Department inspector general's report on alleged Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuses.
A month after Inspector General Michael Horowitz completed his investigation, there are signs that the declassification process is taking longer than expected at the Justice Department and the FBI, and that has made some Trump allies nervous.
Last weekend, Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo announced that her sources were telling her it would be released Friday. But by Monday, Bartiromo updated her report, tweeting, "IG report NOT out this Friday 10/18. Classifications being made. Likely end of month."
Her colleague at Fox Business, Lou Dobbs, who has long complained of the moving "goal posts" for the release of the FISA report, was irritated by the delay. "We now are told by apparently reliable sources that it’s to be delayed. God knows why," he said on his show Wednesday.
Republican allies of President Trump are eager for the report's release as they believe it will show top Justice Department and FBI officials improperly targeted the Trump team by misleading the FISA court in using an unverified dossier compiled by British ex-spy Christopher Steele to obtain warrants to electronically monitor onetime Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. Some have even predicted that the four FISA warrants against Page were illegally obtained and have demanded accountability.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Trump noted that the release of the FISA report is "coming out soon" and will shed light on a "corrupt election." Trump said he believes the string of misconduct "goes right up" to his predecessor, former President Barack Obama.

Trump has the power to declassify ANYTHING he chooses.
If the investigation isn't finished with critical details, you don't go public!
Remember the cliche of the Dems “Don’t rush to judgment”? Now they have Thanksgiving turkeys set out on the oven door and the families waiting so let’s get Trump out of office and have our holiday together. Put the rancor behind us all. Let’s rush the destruction of Trump.
But the goods on Comey,McCabe,Brennan,Hillary,Huma? In the fullness of time, perhaps next year or the years after, we may see some progress in getting the reports out. Like a bonsai that has to be slowly watched for progress.

The so-called “classification review” is in reality the scrubbing of any information that could possibly lead to criminal prosecution. The only real hope left is the Durham investigation.
The investigation is finished. They’re now debating how much of the results were allowed to know.

Any bets that the official “classification review” will result in a deep state employee leaking what the report says to the Democrats forewarning them?
Even I know why! Because they’ve obtained new information such as Mifsud’s phones, that now makes a new classification review necessary.
We’re not even in 2020. Yet.

Any indictments won’t be by Horowitz buy by Durham, most likely. This is the DOJ Inspector General’s report and the most he can do is make referrals to Barr, and I’m not hopeful this report will result in any.
The longer Trump twists in the wind with more and more fake allegations coming out and impeachment inquiry the better. By the time the report is made public, the theme will be that “patriots” in the government had to break regulation for the good of the country because of Trumps seditious activity, which everyone will see due to recent revelations. JUSTIFIED.
Dear President Trump, you have the power to get anything released, quit being a pussy and just declassify the whole goddamned report.
