House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other U.S. lawmakers announced late Saturday U.S. time that they had arrived in Jordan for meetings with King Abdullah II and other officials regarding the situation in Syria.
Although touted as a "bipartisan" delegation, the group includes just one Republican -- Rep. Mac Thornberry of Texas, ranking member of the House Armed Services Commitee. Thornberry is among a group of Texas Republicans who've announced they won't seek reelection in 2020.

“Our bipartisan delegation is visiting Jordan at a critical time for the security and stability of the region,” Pelosi said in a statement. “With the deepening crisis in Syria after Turkey’s incursion, our delegation has engaged in vital discussions about the impact to regional stability, increased flow of refugees, and the dangerous opening that has been provided to ISIS, Iran and Russia.”

Maybe the King of Jordan could offer you a lift in his helicopter and DROP you in for an unexpected close up visit...It would sure MAKE OUR DAY!
Time for Nancy’s catering, trip logs, and booze expenses to get a bit of attention. Last go around it was outrageous. I’m sure she’s worse now.

As a gesture of trust to the peace loving people living in the Middle East... they should leave their security detail behind when they drive out to visit the people living in areas that they are so concerned about.
Hmmm. She threatened to “just watch what we will do” when she huffed and puffed out of that meeting. This must be the start of it. Too bad the plane wasn’t grounded. Can she go meet with anyone she wants, without the president’s approval?
The entire U.S. intelligence cabal needs to be repurposed, defunded, and distilled down something besides a strong arm for political ambitions.

I suspect King Abdullah will get a good laugh out of this in his next conversation with President Trump. That guys is no pushover.
They picked Jordan for this because it's the only decent safe place in the region besides Israel. A congressional delegation is too scared to go somewhere we have been mucking up for the past 25 years.
