Mansuri previously was “‘charged with murder for allegedly burning his first wife, Parveen, to death,’ the cop said. ‘While criminal proceedings were still pending, he married a woman from Mumbai and assaulted her. She left him. He then married Tasleem.'”
So he has been accused of murdering his first wife and assaulting the second, and now he has cut the tongue of the third because he says their tongues got stuck together while kissing. How likely is that? And why didn’t the doting husband cut his own tongue instead of his wife’s?

AHMEDABAD: A 46-year-old man who had last week cut his wife’s tongue with a knife has told the cops that he was forced to do so because his wife’s tongue had become stuck with his while they were kissing on October 9. The accused, Ayyub Mansuri, is a Juhapura resident.
An official of Vejalpur police said that Mansuri’s answers during questioning were dodgy. “Mansuri said when matters turned passionate he found his wife Tasleem’s tongue fused with his,” a cop said. “So, he tried to separate the two tongues, during which his wife’s tongue was severed.” Mansuri further told the cops that he panicked after realizing that his wife’s tongue was severed and that she was bleeding heavily. He told the cops he had run away after locking her inside the house. Tasleem is still not able to speak or eat properly….
Tasleem is the third wife of Mansuri and he is her second husband. He reportedly thrashed her frequently after they got married in March 2018.

Why would the third wife marry such a man? Did she not know about his history? Did her family arrange the match because he was such a good catch?
