On Thursday, President Donald Trump — who has made several trips to the state while in office — will be in Dallas. This time he'll be in Texas as an incumbent seeking re-election, working to win the state's 38 hotly sought after electoral votes in 2020.
The president, joined by thousands of expected attendees, will be at the American Airlines Center on Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. CDT.
As he travels to the Lone Star State, Trump is tied up in controversy around the impeachment inquiry into conversations with the Ukraine president. This will be his first time in the state since those proceedings began.
The same day Trump stumps in Dallas, Democratic Presidential Candidate Beto O'Rourke will be in nearby Grand Prairie hosting a counter rally.
Here's what we know about Trump's visit to Dallas:
When and where is it being held?
The rally is at the American Airlines Center north of the heart of downtown Dallas at 7 p.m. CDT.
Attendees are allowed to start lining up at 6 a.m. and aren’t permitted on the property before then, according to the center’s website. Chairs and stacks are allowed while waiting to get inside, but not in the building.
Doors open at 4 p.m.

Judy, do you recall, before he won the nomination, we had to contend with a good number of Ted Cruz people here. The rallies were frequent but small.
Then even when he won, the nomination, the rallies were bigger, but people wouldn’t line up until a few hours before.
These are amazing. No one in my life time comes close.
This is the kind of out pouring you’d see for Lindbergh, or for a super star. Not quite as large as for The Pope, but we’re getting there.
He’s certainly surpassing people like Billy Graham.
Truly amazing...I can’t see how he loses. The democrats have no chance, and are using the impeachment crap to oust him.
We need to defeat these people 100%.
I remember it all, nikos. Just think....back then, nobody knew what Donald Trump could or would accomplish. All of those crowds were just hopeful. Hope is great, but they didn’t know if he was going to fail, turn liberal, whatever.
But now! He has fought and fought and fought. And he’s been attacked every hour of every day. Yet he has managed to give America the best economy EVER. EVER. He’s kept BIG promises. He’s kept the country safe. He is securing the border, in spite of the dems. He has lifted the minorities. He has let the world know that they can no longer plan on screwing America. He has done more for religious freedom and pro-life Americans than anyone.
He should be doing his rallies in football stadiums! If they get Voter ID passed everywhere, his victory will make the world “landslide” obsolete.

Oh - and let’s not forget for one minute the taking down of the fake news media. He’s got a lot of dragons to slay. Never have I had the amazing pleasure of watching such a good and powerful man wage a one-man war.
