Dobbs is a goober. Whether Scalise’s position on Syria is right or wrong is one thing, but Republicans in Congress have no obligation to support every decision the President makes.

I think you hit the nail on the head. The Congress critters have markers out & the markers are being called. In some cases there is blackmail involved in other cases just dirty$.
Scalise was shifty and defiant in the Dobbs interview. He knew what he participated in was wrong. He changed the topic & talked through Dobbs to try & hide the truth from the American people.
Scalise has been treated very well by POTUS, included in many talks, plane rides, political support ect. I think POTUS may know more about the pressure being applied to the congress critters than is being said. Some of them may have explained to POTUS how they are bound and be helping bring the puppeteers to justice.
There was a big outcry from the American people to these traitorous Congress critters after the vote. I hope they are very uneasy and that the unease will inform there behavior in future but I doubt it.
OTOH I trust President Trump to be planning the long game and setting up the board to get a clean sweep.
