Rand Paul sharply criticized fellow Senate Republican Lindsey Graham for suggesting that U.S. troops should remain in northern Syria.
"Lindsey Graham has been wrong about almost every foreign policy decision of the last two decades," the Kentucky senator said during a Tuesday morning appearance on MSNBC. "He was wrong about the Iraq War. The Iraq War was a mistake. It made Iran stronger, allowed more chaos, more instability, and more terrorism. He was wrong about the war in Libya. It lead to more chaos and more terrorism. He is wrong about this."
Paul was referring to tweets from the South Carolina senator that condemned the White House's decision to remove U.S. troops from northern Syria.
"Our southern border should be our LAST line of defense against radical Islam. Our FIRST line of defense is the U.S. military working with partners in radical Islams backyard keeping them over there so they cant hurt us here at home or hurt our allies like Israel," Graham said on Monday. "This is the exact thinking of the previous Administration leave them alone and let others do our work. It led to the rise of ISIS! Didnt work then. Wont work now."

Rand sure is dropping some truth bombs on Lindsey
Trump also called out Lindsey this morning for wanting endless US military engagement in the Middle East.
Pure Trump. A thing of beauty.
Yep, they all have dust and skeletons in the closet they don’t want disturbed.
I think it’s great to have Rand Paul beating on Lindsey Graham in proxy so President Trump doesn’t have to do it. By all means get out the sledgehammer.
When you’re right you’re right.
They are both getting ready for the presidential race when Trump is done.
Rand Paul 2024
Give it up, the only solution for the mooselimb problem, is the final solution.
No one wants to face facts, but when they are cutting the heads from people in Minneapolis or Detroit, it will be too late.
Graham is both right and wrong on Syria.
We need a military presence in SE Syria to stop Iranian smuggling to Hizb’allah and interdict the ISIS remnants.
But he’s wrong to get involved in the border war between Erdogan and Assad, the only two players with real muscle.
American foreign policy, especially since 9/11, is a complete disaster at tremendous human, financial and reputation cost. I am no isolationist but I would have done most things differently since WWII.
If I was Graham, I’d quip back “could be worse, I could be wrong on foreign policy 100% of the time like your daddy and his latest backstabbing fanboy Justin Amash”
Had we fought in Iraq and Afghanistan the way we fought WWII, total war we could have been home long ago. Instead we plod along with stupid ROE’s, lawyers and political correctness and nation building BS and we are there for decades.
All the military industrial complex is having a fit over pulling out of Syria, it’s the end of the world, insert hyperbole etc... Yet you cannot get a straight answer out of them for a coherent strategy for winning any of the wars in the middle east but only staying forever or else XYZ will happen. That’s BS and they are not the one’s shedding the blood and treasure for incoherent nation building nonsense.
Linda Grahmnesty hasn’t changed his spots. He is a McCain Republican up for re-election and after that he will fully show what a backstabber he can be.
You first senator. Call us when it's over.
Lindsey wants us in that part of the world so he can visit the bacha basi boys on occasion.
Randpaulstiltskin doesnt think the southern border
is a national emergency either
