Pick your master. In this world, there are three main choices. Warlord tyrants who slaughter everyone who isn’t useful to them, or a threat; Capitalist barons, who pay you slave wages, or at least as little as they can get away with; or collective state bureaucrats who rule with an iron hand everything from housing choice and food chain logistics down to who is the fascist to control every block.

I know which one I’d pick.

I also know which one Moore would take, until he actually got it to regret it.

The concept of “slave wages” is a contradiction in terms. Slaves don’t get wages.

That's good! But there's a fourth choice: be one of the masters.
