Yeah this is a different time. My teachers would never give this assignment.

Read the First Amendment very carefully. The Supreme Court acted properly.

Ok, if the Supreme Court ruled to exclude those Muslim studies, wouldn't that be a ruling against religion? Wouldn't that be a violation of the First Amendment?

The State did separate itself from the religion, didn't it?

Islam is not in charge of anyone’s mind and soul, regardless of the claims. Besides, regardless of any court rulings, Christians can still refuse to go along with that crap.

It’s better to take a lower grade in class than to endorse anything Muslim. Remember that everyone has to answer for their actions at some point in time.

The point is that they allow Muslim studies and Muslim prayer rooms but exclude anything to do with Christians, even banning Christian clubs meeting on campus after school.

And the left is too stupid to realize that.

Perhaps if that were pushed to the Supreme Court they would rule against that sort of discrimination. I’ve never seen Conservatives do anything but angrily blog.

“Why aren’t the Muslim students required to answer the same questions about Christianity...”

How do you know they are not?

“This isn’t the first case, and it was NOT in response to a question “What do muslism believe”” - Bob434

Do you KNOW that? Or assume it?

In the link you provided, Bob, the students are asked to write out ‘How would you explain the basic message of Christianity to someone who knows nothing about it?’ They are told to “describe on of Jesus’s miracles and discuss its nature. Why did he perform it?”

How would an atheist feel about describing why Jesus performed miracles?

They are asked to describe the Lord’s Prayer and how Jesus is the “Lamb of God”. They are asked to memorize the Beatitudes.

Want to explain again why Islam is getting preferential treatment?

“did not impermissibly endorse any religion nor did they compel Wood to profess any belief.”

Um, they forced her to recite to major Islamic proclamation of faith.

Let the school simply put up a decorated tree for December and watch how fast they shut it down.

“School boards are mostly veterans of the public school system and are very much a part of the problem.”

The biggest part of the problem is the voters electing them, and then re-electing them. Voters have the veto and the final say.

These schools that push Islam on students... school board can change that on a dime, if they wanted to.

[[Do you KNOW that? Or assume it?]]

It’s a fact- the internet is a wonderful thing-check it out-

[[How do you know they are not?]]

Simple- there would be lawsuits to stop it- that’s how-

IF students are forced to write out the following, “Christ is superior to any other religion’s false saviors, because He is the actual Son of the Living God of all creation, while all other supposed ‘saviors’ are completely human, who worship false gods- not the true God of creation. There is no God but Yahweh”- You know darn well there would be lawsuits galore- Yet when it comes to students writing out allah is great etc- which is a muslim conversion quotation, which muslims take seriously when people utter or write those words, apologists like yourself apparently run to their aid defending their right to indoctrinate- Students have been taken to mosques and forced to recite the Shahada- which again, muslims take very seriously- -

There is nothing in that link about students forced to memorize beatitudes- and being asked questions about a religion is much much different than being forced to write out Shadaha- there was no ‘question asking who muslims think allah is’- only the requirement that students write out that allah is great- that is much much different than writing about a history of a religion and describing what adherents to a religion think- infact, here is the write up on the lesson differences:

“Penkoski also shared with Christian Post the packets on Christianity and Judaism passed out in class and allegedly modified from the original full version. While the packet on Islam contained verses from the Koran, the packets for those religions did not contain scripture and did not encourage students to write prayers or faith statements, he said.

“Notice no Bible verses, no reciting the Ten Commandments or the Lord’s Prayer,” he said.”

Here’s the link again- https://gellerreport.com/2018/05/wva-school-dawah.html/

There are several other cases where students were required to write out shahada or to participate in muslim activities in different schools around the country- again- the itnernet is a great thing for research- Here’s one link- there are more-

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/feb/25/texas-students-dress-burqas-taught-call-muslim-ter/

Here is another link to an explanation about how students were required to write out the statement of faith- the shahada- not in response to a question- but as an assignment- They were also required ot learn the 5 pillars of islam- The school in Tenn has since dropped the requirements because they knew they had crossed the line- kids in the class were even pressured into wearing a hajib and pose for a yearbook photo- in this particular case however, the requirement was for ‘practicing calligraphy’ - and again- if students had to ‘practice calligraphy’ with the Hebrew words fro something like “Christ is superior to any other religion’s false saviors, because He is the actual Son of the Living God of all creation, while all other supposed ‘saviors’ are completely human, who worship false gods- not the true God of creation. There is no God but Yahweh” there would be massive outrage- you and i both know there would be

Excellent point- Anything to do with Christ- or Christmas which celebrates His birth, and the left go mental- Christians can’t hold prayer meetings inside schools, but kids can be required to recite islamic conversion prayers?

The so-called fact-check of your link confirms the list as almost entirely factual with exception of UK schools all serving Halal meat. The fact-check cubicle warriors (yes, I denigrate them) ‘adjusts’ the status of the list, jiggers the numbers while staying within bands of insignificant error (if indeed error), or they state they are unaware.

The only list item they appear to knock down is that ALL UK schools serve ONLY Halal meat. This is a minor infraction that any list-maker could easily qualify by drawing attention to a national educational directive mandating Halal meat be served upon demand whilst many UK schools have no Muslim population yet, there would be no such demand.

All in all, the list stands as FACTUAL.

Thank you for your input.

[[
* Muslim Women ... 78% don’t work and are on free Benefits / Housing
* Muslim Men ... 63% don’t work and are on free Benefits / Housing]]

The numbers for both illegal and legal immigrants here in the US is similar, although slightly lower- but not by much)

It’s a lie that immigrants ‘by and large’ want to come here to work- almost 70% of them go immediately on either welfare, or get some forms of government support- ONLY the greencard workers come here to work- the rest- for them ost part- come here for ‘free stuff’ from the gubbmint!- and they are costing our country nearly $1 TRILLION DOLLARS Every Single Year when all the costs are added up (both direct costs, and incidental costs)

I agree. And as we know these leeches are scanned into motor-voter databases which are used for massive vote fraud.
