Instances of drownings have reportedly tripled in the Del Rio sector along the Rio Grande over the past year, according to data from Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
As drownings have increased along the 210-mile stretch along the Rio Grande, so have the number of water rescues, with a reported 1,000% uptick in fiscal year 2019 for the Del Rio sector, according CNN, which cited CBP data from fiscal year 2018 to 2019.

"....offers a window into the human toll of turmoil....." So, where's that hilarious cartoon of PDJT and the drowned trespassers? Turmoil of their own making.

Proof the wall is working.
Could be this is where we need the gators snakes and crocodiles. I would add piranas and fresh water sharks and some hippos (Hippos are DEADLY... More killed by hippos than any other African animal other than mosquitos) Come to think of it, seed the water with mosquito larva while we are at it.

So that’s where the designation “wetback” came from.

Moving the roaches further up the river.
I had a friend in high school drown in that area.

Sounds like the Mexicans need a fence on their side as a public safety measure.

Mexicans have some sort of migrant crisis on their northern border. They need to do a better job of border protection.

Sub Saharan Murder >10,000 per year
Sub Saharan War Varies from 1000s to million plus
The averages look like the Skeeters win this battle.

Who’s paying for these rescues? The illegals that are rescued should be charged $$ and then made to work it off building the wall under close supervision in a chain gang for breaking our laws and costing our country money rescuing them

Oh and the War deaths are sketchy info but on average look like substantially less than 900,000 a year averaged over the 20th&21st century.

Murder stats show 8100 a year or so but I am rounding up because what happens in the bush stays in the bush. High population density in cities and low in the bush so I think that is fair. Higher murder rates in the bush since less likely to get caught.
