Moscow is not blaming U.S. President Donald Trump for failing to improve U.S.-Russian relations, a pledge he had made during his election campaign, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview with Arab broadcasters.
We know that, including during his previous election campaign, he spoke in favor of a normalization (of U.S.-Russia relations), but unfortunately it has not happened yet, Putin told Al Arabiya, Sky News Arabia and RT Arabic.
But we have no claims because we see whats going on in U.S. domestic politics, he said, according to a transcript published on the Kremlins website on Sunday.
Putin said the internal political agenda was not allowing Trump to take steps aimed at a drastic improvement of bilateral relations, adding Moscow would in any case work with any U.S. administration to the extent that Washington itself wants.

Its Putins idiocy itself plus the Dems.
COLLUSION! TRUMP TOLD PUTIN TO SAY THAT! < /Brian Stelter >
I'd think more of Putin if he announced that he had taken George Soros into custody this morning.
He was colluding with the Russkies!
Putin alone is enough. The way he is acting you can’t have a good relationship with Russia, but I agree the stupid Obama’s “reset button” encouraged him and some people owe Sarah Palin a big apology for laughing at her when she said in 2008 that Russia is going to invade Ukraine next.
I think it’s rather funny to see foreign heads of state address the political nonsense that is taking place in our nation these days.
I’m not a big fan of Putin by any stretch of the imagination, but the first part of these comments is dead on target.
Not only does he address the reality of it, but he also states he’s willing to work with U. S. administrations to normalize relations between the U. S. and Russia.
Contrast this with news reports from the past demonizing the U. S., and it’s a breath of fresh air.
I realize that Putin has done some of that demonizing in the past too, so don’t get me wrong.
As statements go, this was a decent statement.
I also believe we need better relations with Russia. A new “Trust But Verify” relationship would be beneficial for both of us.
I don’t believe the Russian people are our enemy. Some of them immigrate to the U. S. and become pretty solid citizens.
For those who only know Palin through the prism of SNL - Gov Palin made these comments after Putin invaded the nation of Georgia back in 2008. Everyone laughed.
Then Crimea happened...under Obamas watch of course.
President Trump should call Putin over unsecured lines and tell Vlad that he will have more flexibility after he wins reelection.

If anyone seriously gets in Putin’s face, in some/many cases, he can just order them eliminated. O, that President Trump also had that option
Agreed.
And yeah Putin CANNOT be trusted but he should be respected.
He calls what’s going on in the US what it is.
I DO NOT think he has dreams of conquering America or defeating America.
He wants a great Russia again.
Even if it costs the lives of a number of reporters and rivals.
He’s a dangerous man.
But he’s more pragmatic than ANY Dem running for president.
And smarter too.
Trump is too busy fighting of COUPS to get down to a lot o business.
Does George Soros dare set foot in Russia these days?
(is there still a warrant to arrest him, or so I heard)
Putin needs to shut his mouth. The little man says these things to stir up the RATs and the media.
Democrat and CIA meddling to sabotage under the table.
Putin is a POS.
I give President Trump full permission to do whatever he feels he needs to do
There is a Russian book, required reading in their international relations academy, Foundations of Geopolitics and this is what it says about their plans for America:
“Russia should use its special services within the borders of the United States to fuel instability and separatism, for instance, provoke “Afro-American racists”. Russia should “introduce geopolitical disorder into internal American activity, encouraging all kinds of separatism and ethnic, social and racial conflicts, actively supporting all dissident movements extremist, racist, and sectarian groups, thus destabilizing internal political processes in the U.S. It would also make sense simultaneously to support isolationist tendencies in American politics”

. The way he is acting you cant have a good relationship with Russiis
What exactly has Putin done to justify US hostility to Russia? Please give specifics
