Commie RAT allies and lackeys don’t get prosecuted. They are above the law, just like RAT politicos and top government brass. Only little people and low hanging GOP crooks get prison time.

Go back to bed Grassley, you’re useless.

Actually this would be an example where the FBI and the DOJ are useless.

8. The ways in which a great debt, so constituted and applied, will contribute to the ultimate end in view are both numerous and obvious. (1) The favorite few, thus possessed of it, whether within or without the government, will feel the staunchest fealty to it, and will go through thick and thin to support it in all its oppressions and usurpations. (2) Their money will give them consequence and influence, even among those who have been tricked out of it. (3) They will be the readiest materials that can be found for a hereditary aristocratic order, whenever matters are ripe for one.

Rules for changing a limited republican government into an unlimited hereditary one.

Good job, Katie. Get some answers from Grassley and find out what answers he’s been given. Do they just expect people to have forgotten? I guess they have because I sure didn’t remember the referrals. Just wonder why it’s taken so long for Grassley to follow up on action or inaction.

“”we ARE NOT the republic our founders had in mind.””

It hurts to admit it and neither is it the Republic that we were taught about in school. I feel that I’ve - my generation has been lied to for over 60-70 years. It’s not a pleasant feeling..

That does hurt.

I don’t know when it last was a resemblance of the Republic they wanted.

Trump is the CLOSEST thing to a believer in the Republic that we have seen for a long time.

I don’t agree with him on everything.

I know no 2 people who do.

But he was a GIFT sent to .

We need to make the best of it.

“”I don’t know when it last was a resemblance of the Republic they wanted.””

I don’t either. I’ve lived through 14 different presidents starting with FDR in 1936 - even tho’ I don’t remember him. That’s a lot of presidents and that’s a lot of time in office...It would be fascinating to learn just when it was what it was founded to be!

My earliest memory of politics is when Thomas Dewey, NY Governor spoke at our school and we had to attend. How boring could it get? It had to be when he was running for president in 1948 with Governor Warren as his running mate! Boy - did we dodge a bullet! Bad enough we had to end up with Warren on the U. S. Supreme Court..

What on earth is this? https://althistory.fandom.com/wiki/President_Thomas_E._Dewey_(Dewey_Elected)

Must be a spoof site..but how many people will believe it?

I guess this is an explanation..shows we must be careful in googling!!!

Alternate history or alternative history is a genre of speculative fiction consisting of stories in which one or more historical events occur differently. These stories usually contain “what if” scenarios at crucial points in history and present outcomes other than those in the historical record. The stories are conjectural but are sometimes based on fact. Alternate history has been seen as a subgenre of literary fiction, science fiction, or historical fiction; alternate history works may use tropes from any or all of these genres. Another term occasionally used for the genre is “allohistory”.

Is it really Grassley’s fault, or Wray and Barr’s?

He sent referrals to them saying these people lied under oath.

Grassley’s not the sheriff; they are.

If the highest levels of Federal Gov. won’t even go after the lowest level Pigeons for obvious crimes, well when does the revolution start?

“ well when does the revolution start?”

It already did about 40 years ago. Problem is only one side has been fighting. And it ain’t our side.

Republicans, or more specifically pro-life conservatives are accustomed to being lied about, even to one’s own face so....naturally the unJustice Dept. and FBIs see no reason to follow up on requests for charges against these liars.

We just expect it: lie under oath, hey it’s just a “sex lie;” lie about Kavanaugh’s “rape room at 13” it could have happened, besides, he’s pro-life, he deserves it; pretend you remember it happening 20 some odd years ago so you reluctantly contact DiFi, who pretends not to have spoken to you and lies about it; lie about your “fear of flying” meanwhile DemocRATS arrange for you to be flown to the Maryland shore, while you rehearse your “sworn testimony;” no reason to be charged with a crime, besides, “those people” are probably Walmart-types anyway, DC types don’t owe those kind of folks anything anyway!

I’m not very sure that it hasn’t-

Much of the information in the above referenced article appeared in another book “ The Third Terrorist” by Jayna Davis, a TV reporter in OK City at the time. She mentioned some middle eastern folks being witnessed in the area way before the bombing.

My best guess is that Wray is the problem, and he will not move on a single referral pertaining to the coup, or anything that helps Republicans. Give him a chance to answer and then when he does the smarmy bad excuses you know he will give, fire him so fast his head will spin. In fact, consider criminal charges for obstruction and possibly conspiracy. He is OVERDUE for justice!

A full year has passed since the Judiciary Committee completed its investigation

A year? And nada?

Mueller had perjury traps, indictments and guilty pleas in months.

Only a bipartisan coup could stonewall like this. Te GOP has suddenly found their spine due to the fact that
Horowitz is a big nothing burger and they know the GOP base will be livid.
