ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - As the battle between Democrats and Republicans over impeachment continues on like a heatwave in August, President Trump makes moves to remove U.S. troops from Syria.
Just hours after the decision to leave Syrian Kurds to fend for themselves against Turkey, Illinois Congressman John Shimkus calls the President's decision "terrible and despicable."
Shimkus goes on to tell KMOX's Mark Reardon that he told staff "to take my name off the I support Donald Trump list" and that he is "saddened for the Kurdish people."

Has this media whore done his constitutional duty and introduced a deceleration of War on Turkey?
Otherwise just another blubbering clown who needs to be primaried
Either Trump is God, or everything is Trump’s fault.
Here’s what I’m missing through all the noise:
1. How many troops did we have on the ground before the President made that statement?
2. What were they doing there?
3. How many are there now? (if they all left that fast, there could not have been that many there)
4. There was supposed to be a bill introduced to kick Turkey out of NATO if they attacked the Kurds. Is Turkey still a NATO member?
5. Did Congress ever authorize military action to protect a group of people AGAINST a NATO ally (in this case, Turkey)?
Not judging, mind you, but any chance we can get those questions answered before jumping to conclusions?

Makes me wonder how much he cared about a million Rwandans that Billary left undefended to die. I care about Kurds as much as I care about them: NADA. If they want to blow each others brains out, that’s their business unless/until it affects American interests. If it doesn’t, blast away. I’ll donate $5 to their memorial.
Agreed. Isn’t it an amazing turnaround for the DemonRats. They’ve been pounding the drums to bring home the troops for 18 years. I’ve agreed with them for the last 9 years. Iraq should’ve been over when we got Saddam, Afghanistan should’ve been over when we got bin Laden, I’ve never given a single crap about the terrorist state of Syria. Get us out of there, it’s long overdue.
We have 5000 troops in Iraq now, down from 150,000 troops at its peak, a 97% drop. Wanna see the benefits of pulling out of Iraq? Read this: https://www.ndtv.com/world-news/blowing-up-houses-digging-up-graves-iraqis-purge-isis-1661178
The defense industry is big in MO., right?
Good info. Certainly not getting any mention on MSM.
Wonder why no one is talking about th 350,000 troop member Gulf Cooperation Council forces?
