An Oklahoma sheriffs department defied ICE and released an accused rapist from jail this week and within hours he was back at the door of his alleged victim, the agency said Thursday, saying the countys sanctuary policy put the woman at risk.
Antonio Ulises Perez was charged with first-degree rape on Sept. 30, and made bond early Wednesday morning. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement had asked that he be transferred to the custody of deportation officers, but the sheriffs department refused, and released him instead.
Within a few hours of being released, this illegal alien was back at the home of the rape victim where he was free to re-victimize her and harm other members of the community, said Marc Moore, director of ICEs Dallas field office.
He said deportation officers were able to track Mr. Perez down and he is now in custody awaiting deportation proceedings.
The county sheriffs department did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the incident.

Now that he is in ICE custody, what are the chances that he'll be prosecuted for his rape charge? Because ICE isn't going to give him back to the county so they can set him free again. So much for justice for the rape victim. I guess illegal aliens can now get away with violent crimes that American citizens would be prosecuted for. Insanity prevails anywhere that DemocRATS are in charge.

We need to know how much was the bond. Who posted it on the illegal’sbehalf
3 am is a steange time to release someone unkess you wanted to deny ICE
Great thing though is whoever posted the bond will lose thrir money since ICE will likely deport him before the trial.
True Lust?
Let all the victims and their families bring a class action suit against the community, state, etc. that failed in it’s ‘due diligence’ to taxpayers of that community, state, etc.
I’m sure that a few PHONE CALLS to that Sheriff Department would help him decide which side to take in a rape case.
“...How does someone get out on bond with a charge of 1st degree rape?...”
Ultra-leftist court.
I think that you are right about the rise of vigilante justice. If government won’t protect Americans then Americans will begin to take it upon themselves to do it just like in the old days of the Wild West. The problem we face today is that our “betters” in government do not respect citizens so they may have to learn to fear them. And when government inevitably starts cracking down on vigilantes far more severely than they do terrorists and murderers then then there will have to be jury notification. Americans will have revive the grand old tradition of jury nullification.
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County. The politicians and sheriffs should be in jail.
Oklahoma county is in Oklahoma and the county seat is Oklahoma City.
Ahh Yes!! It’s all about ‘public safety’ yaknow.
and civil rights for illegals..
to continue on their merry escapades
in a land where laws used to be enforced
regardless of race, creed or color.
Repeat repeat repeat....
Hit them where it hurts, not just the wallet. Go after the bank account, savings.
It’s unfortunate that the victim didn’t make him die of suddenly onset lead poisoning.
THIS STORY IS FALSE!!!!
I called the Sheriff and this was an ICE screwup. ICE dropped the ball and put out a false story.
Please dont call the Oklahoma County Sheriff. They were not at fault!!!
Yep, that thought crossed my mind.
Dont. Call!,
This was an ICE screw up. Oklahoma County cooperates fully with ICE. They notified ICE that he was going to be released and ICE didnt show up until he had left the building.
See post 35.
“This shit wont stop until the officials involved get sued and lose their shirts.”
If the justice system worked, he wouldn’t have been out. Why will it suddenly work if people sue?
Sorry, but they STILL released him. If they gave a crap about the victim, they would have held him and cleared up the confusion.
