Great! People here hate Graham, but he’s a smart man and very aggressive in his genteel SC way. People in SC like him so that’s good.

He didn’t like Trump at the start. But neither did a lot of people because Trump was so different. I actually didn’t trust him because I thought it was all a pose to get elected. I should have known better...I’m from NY and was living there when Trump had his ugly divorces, rebuilt the Wollman Rink with his own money, was one of the leading forces behind the Hudson Yards (opposed by Nadler), etc. So Trump is what he is and what he says he is, and I finally believed this and I think Graham does too. And what Trump is ...is somebody who loves America.

That doesn’t mean people can’t disagree with Trump on particular issues, and that’s perfectly legit. Frankly, I think it’s Dem trolls here (and there are many) who attack Graham every time his name appears because they want to kick the legs out from anybody who supports Trump on any issue.

A little 18 months ago he was thick as thieves with McTraitor. I remain distrustful. I do think he got a shock of reality with the Rats and Kavenaugh.

It's fine to support of warmonger graham, just don't trash citizens who have been there that don't believe graham's proposal for a permanent American force in the mid east is in the best USA interest.

Just post a few disagreements here and you will get labeled a #NeverTrumper.

Was living there same timeframe as you. After his election, I read the “Art of the Deal” which filled me in on what he was actually doing during the 80’s, early 90’s. A walk down memory lane. Trump reminds me of men from his fathers’ era. His thinking was influenced by them along with his longtime association with anti-Communist attorney Roy Cohn. I see his Scottish mother’s influence on him, as well.

I agree with you about not agreeing all the time with his choices; for me the abortion issue is a surprise change in his thinking, but the big picture is that he gave us a fighting chance/buying more time to save the Republic from the tyranny which will descend with the next Democrat President.
