Mark Levin should be on his legal staff.

I would hire the best attorneys not the most media savvy ones.

Trump needs both.

Just as long as he's clear which is which.

He resigned from the House, then got a job at Fox News. Between him and Giuliani, I am not hopeful in Trump’s legal picks.

I believe he was a prosecutor before coming to Congress. This may be his first assignment as a defense atty.

I saw him once on the ID Channel before he was in Congress, prosecuting a murder suspect. He won the case.

I think he looks like Chicken Little.

I don’t know how good of a lawyer Gowdy is but he’s great at grandstanding for the cameras. Frustrating when he’s breathing fire from his position running a do-nothing committee (great soundbites, no action) but probably good for Trump to have someone with that skill on the the team to represent him in the court of public opinion.

Thanks for the mention. I should probably know that, but I have never followed him closely.

I know he gets dinged here, and for the reasons given I pretty much agree with it.

It was my take his voting record was decent, but that’s about all I knew about him.

I appreciate the correction.

It is of interest to me that he is now going to be appointed to be White House council, when he didn’t seem to follow through in the House when he had some chances to apply a lot of pressure on certain issues.

Will he be more effective now? I’m not convinced.

I’m not totally sold on them either.

You know, we’re not going to agree with anyone 100% of the time. I sometimes take note of situations like this and wonder if he couldn’t have done better.
