Haven’t been overly impressed with Trey.

I think his voting was decent, but perhaps someone will enlighten me on that too.

The point is, it strikes me as not so good an idea to pick folks out of the House and Senate, since we need to keep or recover our majorities there.

“Well, he’ll be a great mouthpiece.”

I think you’re right.

We here pay MAJOR attention to politics. Most Repubs don’t.

We at FR can have differences with Gowdy, but I think he’s gonna be a good spokesmen to the general Repub public.

I can’t really blame him for the haircut, he needed to do something to distinguish himself from Draco Malfoy...

Cowlick! That’s the term I was looking for.
I rarely hear it used nowadays.
Not enough people know much about Cows anymore.

I used to joke, “Watch Trey Gowdy destroy Trey Gowdy”.

However, I wish him the best in this endeavor and may his talents serve the President well.

Previously he had no legal clout. Oversight does not have prosecutorial powers. Now Gowdy is in a position to assist in bringing about justice.

I don’t think he ever lost a case as prosecutor.

Something positive, thank you. How will Trump ever prevail with so much negativity and willingness to already throw the baby out with the bathwater.

I understand the squealing of the little stuck pigs last week a lot better now.
Somebody let the cat out of the bag well before this reporting.

I hope Dems brought their brown pants. /Negan impression

Could be. I hope so

Watch though to see if he’s in it to cover up. Why did he leave the house?

Could be good could be bad.

I am convinced he left the House in order to take up an office that has prosecutorial clout.
