Quest To FInd a Solution To Political Division.
I’ve been pondering, praying and grieving about our current political hostility that we the people of this great nation are experiencing. Its emotional impact is unprecedented to say the least. This negative, historically and highly intense separation of political parties has lead me to this one word. “Allegory!”
This word compelled me to research its definition. This is what I discovered. Allegory; a story, poem, or picture that can be interpreted to reveal a hidden meaning, typically a moral or political one.
My mental allegorical picture was layered with extreme heights of fear! Which I concluded was perhaps, revealing a hidden meaning for a solution to our currently greatly divided political situation.
My greatest fear hinges on this devastating division in the political arena. This unnecessary power struggle has completely removed any hope of compromising, sadly, not even in the gray areas. I also fear for our future generations as they may not experience our forefathers heart’s intent for this country and most importantly, I fear, what will become of our beautiful nation, if this hostile political separation continues. We are engaged in an epic national struggle to maintain the respect, admiration and integrity from its’ people and indeed the world as a whole.
The price for this precious nation was bought and paid for by citizens who suffered hardship, shed many tears, spent countless hours in prayer and who unselfishly offered up their most precious commodity, their lives.
So, could the allegorical hidden meaning to my mental picture be tied to fear? If so, could we have possibly found the key to resolving our political differences? By addressing fear? I can say this, because for certain, both parties exhibit fear in some way or fashion. We are all guilty from time to time of not addressing our own fears. If fears are left unchecked could they become harmful to oneself and others?
I can also say for certain that like an animal trying to survive, I smell fear from both parties. And their fear is toxic to our country’s future. It will ultimately destroy us. What are they afraid of? Losing control, power or money? The Bible does say that the “love” of money is the root of all evil. How much wealth have you witnessed in your lifetime that our political parties have walked away with at the tax payers expense?
I do believe that fear is the “root” that is causing this political madness! First there’s the root that produces the tree, then sooner or later it bears low hanging fruit. What nasty smelly fruit have you seen in both parties? I’ve seen favoritisms, hidden agendas, power struggles, slander, despicable lies, finger pointing and worst of all treason. We’ve got to stop this craziness enforced by fear before it completely destroys us and our beloved country.
Fear causes flight or fight actions. We’ve all experienced these emotional reactions to situations in one fashion or another. I’ve witnessed very little flight in this political battle of good verses evil. Unfortunately, there’s been plenty of negative fighting to last one’s lifetime.
People are inherently good but sometimes we lose sight of what is morally correct. Once again, fear based. Fear of losing your position, therefore, you do whatever it takes to maintain your job at all cost. Have you seen this during re-election times? All the name callings, looking for nasty dirt and lowering one’s morals to outright lying. Why don’t some of these elected politicians just stand on their own hard work ethics, honor, integrity and love for their country and its’ people. The best man or woman wins by becoming an advocate for truth and honor, not out of fearful desperation tactics.
If a person becomes offended it normally leads into defensiveness which ultimately prompts us to arguments. All of these negative emotions are fear based. Do you see this happening all around you on a daily basis? The “I’ll show you or I’ll get you mentality.” That kind of thinking is like a contagious disease running throughout the entire political system. Our elected representatives are sent to Washington to represent the people. More often than not they forget who sent them and start down a path to fulfill their own agenda. What is causing them to derail? Could it be peer pressure, rubbing elbows, or are they bought and paid for once they’re voted in?
I have to believe most of our politicians have the right intentions when running for office. However, could fear be the catalyst that causes them to take a different path? Not one person on this planet is immune from fear. Not addressing fear will lead us down to total destruction. And possibly a “no” return ticket will be offered by our Creator.
By following your ears...what you’ve heard and truly believe in, will become your belief system and without a doubt become your reality. The media knows this age old tactic all to well. They feed us our daily dose of negativity every minute of every day. You know how to program your television shows and they know how to program you, by using fear as their tool to instill hate and division. It just takes a little bit of common sense to see through their agenda. But, you’ve got to be willing to release your own fears to see the truth. Perhaps it’s fear of not believing in your own political party any longer, fear of letting go of something you’ve held dear to your heart because it’s been a generational belief, fear of change, fear of what others might think or do. Good people of this great nation, if we don’t change ourselves how then, will we be able to change a corrupt government?
God said, “I have NOT given you a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind!”
A fearful spirit is an actual demonic force. Where there is fear...there is confusion.
Confusion causes conflicts. And we are sadly witnessing this daily in the reportings coming from the media. Chaos, backbiting, backstabbing, lies, deception, power struggles sometimes even murder and suicide. The media thrives on broadcasting fear!
If each of us would understand that once we eliminate our own personal fears...we then destroy confusion...our minds will become sound...giving us the ability to see TRUTH! Truth “is” the power that God was talking about...once you see truth clearly... then the love for one another will manifest itself. Resulting in humanity’s wholeness and finally giving us back a common sense of unity between one another. And an untainted fearless government as God had intended since our creation. This is exactly what our forefathers fought long and hard for. They pray-fully, courageously and thoughtfully left us with God’s blessings called the Constitution of the United States!!!
This timeless divinely inspired document of simple pen to paper was intended to give us an eternal blueprint for liberty, freedom and the pursuit of happiness. However, as Ben Franklin warned us, “you have a [constitutional] republic if you can keep it.” He also said, “that a right heart exceeds all.” At this point, I fear that we are dangerously close to losing it.
So what is your fear? Unwanted pregnancy, skeletons in your closet, feelings of powerlessness, not being accepted, failure, poverty, being taken advantage of, the unknown, change? You do realize that politicians use our fears to increase their power and the government’s control over us? Their agenda is to control every aspect of your lives. It’s call big government. And my fellow Americans of this country, the outcome of their decisions are not always in your favor. We the people of this great nation are meant to run the government not vis-a-versa. We do it by a gracious God given process called, elections.
Unfortunately, for us, the spirit of fear has an arsenal of emotional fear weapons at his disposal that he has used to destroy individuals one at a time. Because fear has all the time in the world to strategically destroy us, individually. Second to none, fear’s greatest strategy is to create confusion so we can or will take each other out. Political confusion in our government is on the top of fear’s list, as this affects every citizen of this great nation.
We can individually break the chains of fears in our own lives, become passionately united as one body of people fighting for what is good and wholesome for our beloved country and future generations. How? By cleaning our own house and expecting nothing less from the politicians that we-the-people elect or are currently holding official positions. Let’s look past fear and longingly search for truth. Truth will stand up to the strongest storm and face it head on, like there’s no tomorrow. Search your heart, eliminate any fears and pick the candidates that can also face the storms, to keep this country and its’ peoples strong and alive.
My new allegorical mental picture would then look like this. We the citizens of this great United States of America will be restored to our God given rights. Occupying a nation that offers the world a beacon of light, allowing every individual hope to fulfill their dreams, a safe haven to live in, peace without conflict, joy to experience, love to share, harmony to bask in, prosperity to experience and most of all, a thriving constitutional society, just as our courageous forefathers intended. A powerful, but yet, peaceful nation, where we can love one another as Jesus has loved us. And we can have all of this...without fear!

It comes from the fact that the Republicans, under Trump, are no longer giving in to the socialist agenda, and the Left can't deal with not winning.

Why the desire for peace? Many in the OT prophesized peace and the people listen to that, it sounded good to their ears.
Jesus came to divide, he clearly said that.
Luk_12:51 Do you suppose that I have come to give peace on earth? I tell you, no, but rather division.
Paul also said there must be conflict.
1Co 11:19 But, of course, there must be divisions among you so that you who have God’s approval will be recognized!
Division in and of itself is never good or bad, the question is for what purpose. We were NEVER promised earthly peace.
I prefer Abraham Lincoln, “A house divided cannot stand.............it will be all one or all the other.”
Compromise depends very much on the issue, some things can’t be compromised.
The only solution to GETTING ALONG WITH EVIL is to tell the Truth. These people do not want to get along, in case you haven’t noticed. They want to take over the country and run it in their Commie way. We will not let them. We do not want to get along with them at all.
