They’d have agreed to respond to his completely legal and reasonable request for help in a corruption investigation of the Bidens is the transaction with Hunter and his henchmen was ethical. By their refusal they’ve virtually admitted to bribing Joe by cutting his equally corrupt son in on a $1.5 billion dollar deal that wouldn’t have existed but for Joe’s being Obola’s point man on dealings with the PRC.
IOW, PDJT’s request was an integrity test for the Chi Coms, the Bidens, and Obola, a test they all just flunked.

At issue here, Hunter Biden was on the board of BHR Equity Investment Fund Management Company.
That company is state owned (as in, owned by the Chia-coms) and is based in Shanghi (not the U.S.) in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone.
In other words, it's NOT an "internal" U.S. affair. It's an internal CHINA affair. Trump is simply asking them to look into the corruption WITHIN their country.
What this really is...is China telegraphing they really don't want to have to deal (or make deals with) President Trump because he's bad for their gravy train. They want to deal with a President Biden instead, who will roll over and let them rip us off...x10.
So China has no interest in ferreting out and removing frauds and fraudulent activity in their national jurisdiction. They own many businesses and other properties in the USA, I suspect there is a way to turn some screws until they say uncle.
Translated: China is making out like a bandit in its stealing intellectual property. It doesn’t want to do anything to call more attention or opposition to it.
