Your post brought to mind the term “kinetic” Kinetic is the fashionable for a shooting war.
There needs to be a term for the Trump effort. Potential is no good because the effort is real. Passive is nogod because there is some action.
When is war not war but a destructive real process?
Is the hog disease natural or biowar?
Pig Ebola: Natural. There is a vector that can be traced and it came from Africa and slowly spread through Asia. Because the Chinese farm hogs so intensively it went “Hog Wild” there infecting 3/4ths of the population.
