Andrew Card, who served as White House chief of staff during the George W. Bush administration, on Monday expressed support for House Democrats impeachment inquiry of President Trump, saying that "clearly lines have been crossed."
"I do think an impeachment inquiry is warranted," Card, who led Bush's White House team between 2001 and 2006, said on MSNBC while addressing revelations about Trump's alleged efforts to enlist Ukraine's help in his 2020 reelection campaign.
Card cautioned that he wasn't sure if Trump's actions qualified as an "impeachable offense" and implored members of Congress to let the investigation play out before reaching a conclusion on the matter.

Let’s not get carried away—
besides, did W have anything to do with this guy saying that?
Are we sure he said it?
Who knows why these people turn; blackmail isn’t out of the question.
I couldn't agree more. I defended GWB, many times, specifically because I thought he was a patriot and had the best interest of the US and its citizens in his heart. I was wrong. He ‘thinks’ he does. But he is also wrong about this. Despite his ‘simple’ language, and all of his everyman activities - like ‘removing the underbrush’ on his ranch etc. etc., he's a monied elitist - and wouldn't have been President if he wasn't.
Oh, so now it’s morphed into seeking help from a foreign nation to get elected in 2020? Dems have absolutely NO shame, accusing Trump of the very crime they themselves have committed multiple times.
Any lowlife Republican can see his name in print IF he’s willing to trash other Republicans....
Odd how that NEVER happens with a democrat willing to bash fellow democrats...
I wonder if that has something to do with the creepy omnipresent bias in the press?
A new week, another reason to despise the Bush “Republicans” even more.
I knew what Dubya was all about as early as 1994.
That was the year that we passed Prop 187 in California, our anti-illegal alien proposition.
Prop 187 was a grassroots effort and we found ourselves fighting more than just the Mexican gov’t and and its front groups- we also found ourselves fighting the GOP Establishment.
And one of the GOPe traitors who opposed us was the then Governor of Texas, GW Bush. He actually flew out here to inject himself into our California election to side with Mexico’s lawbreaking citizens.
So Dubya never fooled me and I never once voted for him. I already knew that on something as simple as defending everyday Americans from the tidal wave of lawless foreign nationals he was a treasonous POS. And he still is.
W is from New Haven, Connecticut - a sanctuary city these days.
So he’s now finally come out as a liberal.
And many who worked for him. sigh
My hunch is that smart as Trump is, he went straight to the source in this case the Ukraine, in order to find out who all those lying, crooked creeps are who do what ever hey can to torpedo him. He knew quite well he couldn’t get a straight answer from our own fabulous agencies, I am quite sure you know who they are, as unfortunately in many ways they are just as corrupt and were in bed with that illustrious closet (mm)uslim who claimed to be our former president, and probably still are in bed and are enamored with crooked hilderbeast, dreaming about the day she would rise again.
Heaven help us that this never will happen, as she was just itching to finish the job our former make believe president started. What amounted to turning this country into a socialistic hell hole, assisted by money bags like Soros etc. who couldn’t care less if the US would go down the drain and end up on the trash pile of history like many others before.
If anyone on our side was involved, it would have been daddy Bush. Got us in a war that transferred a great deal of wealth from us to them. Got junior war time president credits. Got us the Patriot Act and a great deal of power in the hands of the state.
The Bush Washington inaugural dance was populated with fat, meek types like Carl Rove and Mr. Conway who would pretend to dance while visions of avarice danced through their heads. To my future and present embarrassment I overlooked it, never thinking at the time that I would despise them for their RINO ways. So when I hear this voice from the Bush past make powwow with the Democrats, I’d like to scalp him.
What’s in Andy’s closet?
Its similar to what we keep hearing about all of the honorable men at the FBI and CIA. If honorable men are left there, they should have resigned by now. Same with the Republican Party.
Is almost everything from the bush camp krap like this? Seems to be a lot of it
You may be correct
How many were booted for speaking against W?
Some of us here in TX were aware of what Bush was even as Guv back in 1999.
Consider this:

If this alleged Bush 9/11 coverup wasn't impeachable, then nothing is impeachable.
How US covered up Saudi role in 9/11
“The FBI was thwarted from interviewing the Saudis we wanted to interview by the White House”The White House “let them off the hook.”
I was teasing about Cheney
I admire his grit and feel hes more realistic about whats going on than W or Yeb
We lost a few dozen at least....many of us were asked back after the Mad Ivan Wideawakes exodus
Free Republic is all in now and realizes its culture baby after all
It’s hard not to consider this endorsement the same as a confession to his involvement in deep state crimes.
I knew he was a Card by the way he shuffled in...
