The way I see it, the proposals published this week represent we in the UK jumping to the island in the middle of the river. If were to leave with a deal, we need the EU to jump over from its side and join us there, showing its own willingness to do a deal that the UK Parliament can support.
So I say to our European friends: grasp the opportunity our new proposal provides. Join us at the negotiating table in a spirit of compromise and co-operation,

Hard exit is the best way. Rip off the bandaid. Trump will negotiate some sweet trade deals with Boris. Win win.

No court will grant Brexit opponents a stay Just because no court has yet done it doesn't mean it won't happen. I think the biggest underreported story is how the entire British system of government just kind of makes the rules up as it goes. If the Brexiteers were smart, they would next demand a written constitution.

But how can he just ignore the Surrender Act, which requires him to ask EU for an extension?

It's the 11th hour and it's time for the EU to do a deal. Why the EU? Let the no deal Brexit will happen and who ever feels the pain the most will be the one to do a deal.

Sounds bold, but I’ll bet the UK is still in the EU 26 days from now.

The deal is dependent upon the UK living up to its good Friday agreement promise for an open border on the island of Ireland
