A survey produced by the Harris Poll in partnership with Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) finds young Americans’ comfort with LGBTQ individuals has plunged from 63 percent in 2016 to 45 percent in 2018.
According to the Accelerating Acceptance report, Americans aged 18-34 who say they are comfortable interacting with LGBTQ people dropped from 63 percent in 2016 to 53 percent in 2017, and then to 45 percent in 2018.
The survey results are published as lesbian, gay, and transgender activists celebrate Pride month.
“At the same time, the Trump administration continues to attack the LGBTQ community through discriminatory policies and targeted rhetoric, and LGBTQ Americans are becoming more vulnerable to hate crimes and violence,” GLAAD said in response to the survey outcome.

LGBTQ actually has a limited degree of plausibility to begin with, as a “persecuted minority”. Nobody much cares what the sexuality of another person is, unless they are subjected to an inordinate amount of “in your face” confrontation and screeching assertions of “homophobic” bigotry. Then the impulse to answer these accusations, boorishness, and outright rudeness becomes overwhelming.
On occasion, someone may have mentioned that the choices in sexual preferences may not be a good thing if the objective is to conform to the wider world in social contacts and associations with the world of work and recreational activities. But no, in a streak of stubborn adolescence which has gone unresolved for far too long, these people tend to isolate themselves, and further widen the perceived breach with those they consider their peers, and sometimes mentors.

Acknowledging their orientation and their freedom to do what they want in a free society is one thing.
Crashing restrooms and thrusting images of them making out with each other into all forms of media is something else again.
The average American is finally seeing gays are they are-petulant foot stomping children who cry if they don’t get their way.
My town is getting a Chick-Fil-A and the local gays starting bashing it and anyone on our towns FB page. People had enough on the page and I noticed started giving the bully gays crap right back.
The gays then scurried off nd some deleted their post.

It took the mass media article a full four sentences before they started attacking Trump.

What accommodations should gays be granted?
You don't get to pick your gender, it is either xx or xy.
You can choose your life style and sexual activity, and you can dress up and pretend to be what you are not, but the chromosomes are dictated when sperm fertilizes the egg.
The unborn baby has already had their sex {gender} determined, accept science, move on.
I can see if kids are pushed to be gay then straights kids could develop a complex thinking, “Why am I not gay? Something must be wrong with me.” The whole point of the gay agenda might be to flip the mindset to have straight kids experience the sexual anxiety what they went through. If this is the case, then they a vicious and out for a revenge born out of hatred for straights.
I don't want them strutting their filthy lifestyle in my face. But that doesn't mean I wish them dead, as if they were Muslims.

I’ve had my share of Gay friends over my 68 years and always took the attitude that I didn’t care who people screwed in the privacy of their own homes. Just leave the kids alone and don’t flaunt your behavior in public(I don’t want to see a guy and girl going after each other in public either). But they can’t help themselves. They have gone big time after the children with school programs, TV, books etc., and they parade their perversion down the city streets of cities across the country with their ‘pride parades’. So my attitude has changed. I’m sick of them and their agenda, and am more than willing to express it openly to my millennial family members who are totally invested in LGBTQ crap. It makes for some interesting conversations.
