Yeah, this was my "Road to Damascus" moment. When a couple of lesbians sued a 72 year old woman because she would not bake them a cake for their homosexual wedding. 72 years old! Give me a break! She lost everything: her business, her life savings, her retirement savings --- all because she wouldnt' blow off her religious beliefs and cater to their whims.
That was it for me. I figure, when our Muslim overlords start throwing these people off buildings; I'm not going to care.

I hope you are right but my school teacher friends and relative say otherwise. My SIL said this latest generation of juniors and seniors is the most liberal in her 36 years of teaching.
She has noticed a small group of these are ultra conservative maybe 15% but rest are indoctrinated.
For a while, society went through the “every cool kid had to have one” phase with tattoos.
But fads don’t last long. Whatever their appeal may be, the emotion soon passes with familiarity and changes into boredom and perhaps contempt.
The same has been true for sexuality.
The taboo sex stuff your parents were apalled by became the new fad ... until the fad became familiar and boring. The emotion has passed. We’re over it now.
That’s where we are now with sex, drugs, rock and roll and all the rest of the excess, at least until the next fad comes along.

There’s a recent development with gender neutral pronouns at a very popular software development site called ‘Stack Overflow’. They got rid of a very popular moderator because she questioned the pronoun policy (refering to individuals as ‘they’ and somesuch).
I’ve never done a poll, but most software devs I’ve worked with are on the whacko lefty side of the fence. This really set them off debating each other. Pretty interesting....

Illinois is now requiring a course on LBGT history for school children. I read recently that the Chicago schools are considering the same for Black history. Meanwhile the Chinese teach STEM.

And proving the slippery slope, out came the “pedophilia is a sexual orientation” and “we really need to tolerate adultery, because monogamy is so oppressive”.
I was reading a philosophy book for a book review, and they had MULTIPLE essays where the author was covering a topic and then threw in a “bash Trump” line. Sometimes it was an offhand swipe, sometimes it was a whole three pages relating the subject to bashing conservatives, Christians and Trump.
I pinged the editor about their explicit bias. They didn’t see it, and their token Communist contributor WAS considered their ideological diversity.
I have actually had this argument with liberals. It isn’t just the “bathrooms”. It is locker rooms. It is changing rooms. It is showers.
That’s why the “you can pee by me” is the camel’s nose under the tent. You tap into sympathy and say it is OK, there is privacy. No, there isn’t, because it puts men in the women’s spaces segregated for their literal protection. And it gives the guy access to the changing rooms and showers in workplaces, gyms and dorms.

The immature child and toxic narcissist confuses tolerance with endorsement. That if you love them, you have to agree with them and cheer them no matter what. That if you disagree with them or tell them no, it is only because you hate them and want to hurt them.
This is why liberal bullies DEMAND we celebrate everything and everyone they hold up as an ideal. Tolerance or tepid support isn’t good enough, and they’ll tear you apart for not affirming them every way no matter what.

Also the number of young trans individuals who are saying it was a mistake and want reversals. Young people most affected by this madness are waking up and the pendulum may begin to swing backward.
