Well we'll see then, won't we?
Lying through your teeth as usual.
Trump was within 50k votes in MN and won the majority of votes cast on election day.
If the election had been a week later, he would have taken MN without question.
And I agree he’ll take both of those and more in 2020.
Those laws are written to take effect only if the EVs of the states that passed them reach 270. Right now they are about 90 short. Plus they are already under legal challenge as they invalidate voter choice.
Wishful thinking...
I say an election very similar to last one...
We will win by about the same electoral votes.
....but it could go either way.
WE ALL NEED TO DO OUR PART ON SOCIAL MEDIA...CAMPAIGNING...AND YES HECKLING THE SOCIALIST THAT WINS !!
Nothing is definite in politics.
Hell, he damn near took them in 2016.
In Minnesota, Romney got about 1,320,000 votes in 2012. Trump got about 1,323,000 in 2016. Hillary got about 1,360,000 votes in 2016 but Obama had gotten about 1,547,000 votes four years before. It was close because people stayed home. Will they stay home in 2020 is the unknown?
Same with Wisconsin. Trump took the state in 2016 with fewer votes that Romney got in 2012 when he lost it by 7 points. Will the Democrats stay home again?
Don't get me wrong, Trump can win in 2020 but it isn't going to be easy. It's never going to be easy. And those who are foolish enough to believe it will be a cake-walk will become complacent, and nothing will lose an election faster than complacency. Just ask Hillary.
Head in the sand as usual.
Trump was within 50k votes in MN and won the majority of votes cast on election day.
Trump got about the same number of votes that Romney had gotten in 2012. Hillary got about 160,000 votes fewer than Obama had gotten in 2012. That's why it was close. People stayed home. Maybe they'll stay home again in 2020, maybe they won't.
I’ve long contended that many blacks voted for Trump by simply staying home. It was a deliberate choice.
I very much like your analysis, HamiltonJay. Good stuff.
Oops. My last post was for DoodleDawg.
“I am convinced that if the Dems continue pursuing this slash and burn unfair impeachment strategy they not only insure Trumps re-election but the lose the house for at lest the next 4 years and end up on the outside looking in.”
We thought that what happened during the Kavanaugh nomination process was going to wake people up and cause them to vote Republican in the 2018 mid-term elections and it did not happen. Even with the likely voter fraud, a lot of those elections were very close before the votes were harvested by the Democrats.
Trump is not going to win CA, OR, WA, NY or IL for sure.
I have my doubts about Trump taking MI and PA this time around. Voter fraud will be massive and those states have the perfect environment for it. Philly and Detroit could be problematic, obviously.
If warren is the nominee, I would fully expect black turnout across the board to be down a few points from Hillary’s numbers....
This story notwithstanding, he's practically invisible. Which is great. That's what you want a Chief of Staff for -- to get things done quietly behind the scenes.
Trump has scored great victories in the last year or so, and I attribute a lot of that to excellent work by his COS Mulvaney.
May his ACTING status remain! This guy just might be our ticket for 2024.
...so you’re predicting Trump’s vote count will fall?
Or Grey_Beaver will outdraw her Thighness?
The later.
I wish there was some hope of PDJT carrying my state of Maryland.
He’ll win my country again, the Eastern shore and the western portion. It’s the swampy patch from Baltimore to the D.C. suburbs that are the problem.
The truth about the Dem lies didn't come out until after the election. We are seeing the lies, especially around Schiff come out in time to campaign on the do nothing corrupt dems.
I'll take it.
45 outta 57, allows us to lose 12 and still win in a landslide.
Voter fraud is real, I know because I have been a poll watcher in PA since 2002, and have seen it.
States that have early voting are subject to it more so than states like PA, where early voting is rare, and only by a certified absentee ballot.
The voter fraud in PA, occurs in old age homes, inner city precincts where the dead vote late in the evening, union lead thugs bribing the poor and corrupt precinct workers that may have no pubbie oversight.
The state of Washington is 100% mail in and 100% corrupt.
Kalifornikator has ballot harvesting, and is 97% corrupt.
