Democratic candidates gathered in Sin City and went all in on gun control. Granted, it wasn’t hard to do when the event was sponsored by gun control groups Giffords and March for Our Lives and the table dealer was a left wing cable news network that didn’t even gamble their own ratings by putting it on their network. They live-streamed on the web instead.
If you missed it, I don’t blame you. Still, there’s some big election-year ideas they’re betting on.
Bans
The field split on outright confiscation. They must have noticed that U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) isn’t at the table anymore after he championed the idea. Former Congressman Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke continued to double down, offering up a poll that says the majority of Americans support a “mandatory buyback” (read: confiscation). I’ll take action on the bet they didn’t ask the more than 16 million modern sporting rifles owned by law-abiding Americans. Those are the semiautomatic AR-15 rifles they vilify, different from the rifle employed by the military. O’Rourke isn’t the only one betting on this. U.S. Sens. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) and Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) want in too.

Truth be told, they want to ban them all, take them from you by force, if necessary, and leave you defenseless against their subsequent, planned encroachments on the remainder of your ‘rights’...

Every democRAT candidate wants to ban guns. All guns.
Most of them lie about it, and claim they only want to ban “some” guns.
I would love to see a Trump ad asking the question, “When sworn in as president we take an oath to support and defend the constitution. The democrats are running on destroying the Second Amendment. What else are they plannung to destroy?”

Every politician in Washington, R or D, would be happy to see ALL guns banned....they just don't have the balls to say so.
Because he successfully ran out the clock against perhaps the most intense media push for gun control I have seen.
If the Democrats had kept up the push, they might have got something passed. Many Republicans had gone very squishy.
But President Trump kept saying he was studying and considering, etc.
Then the insane Democrat base pushed Pelosi into the "impeach" fiasco, and President Trump said that killed gun control.
Come and take them, b#tches!
No, the Democrats do not care about banning guns. They do not dislike guns. They like guns. If you don’t believe that , look what obama did. He gave every Government Agency guns and lots of ammunition. Of course as many on here said that to nothing to be concerned about, they needed the ammunition to practice with their guns. The part about guns that the Democrats hate is that you and I have guns. These are the ones they want to get rid of. Always remember that and do not fall for any of silver tongue slogans. To wit} We need to get rid of guns in order to fight crime. WE need to get rid of guns for public safety. We must get rid of guns for the children.
The next step will be to kill or imprison everyone with the knowledge and skills to manufacture them.
Nothing needs to be said.
There isn’t going to be any gun control, or anything else.
There is only impeachment.
You can take his word as gospel. But like all the other Democrats, you're too stupid to listen.
The package exists. I would say attacking me over it is disingenuous at best... democratic silencing at worst. Enlighten the stupid... what is exactly in his gun control package? It it wiser to ask or ignore its existence... or.. attack those who ask for the truth.

The 1st step to totalitarianism is government mandated health Care so they know who, what and WHERE you are.
2nd step is rifle/pistol confiscation.
