It's always useful to know what a campaign is like, the lay of the land, so to speak, the supporters, the campaign operation, the candidate herself.
Here in San Diego, Elizabeth Warren paid a visit Thursday, so I went, taking my elderly mother, blending into the crowd to learn how things looked from the Democrat side.
The most obvious takeaway is that Warren is rising... Based on her own energetic appearance and stump speech, she's now begun campaigning as if she's got the Democratic nomination in the bag, and she's now attempting to move to the center.
That signals a swift campaign response to the de facto collapses of her Democratic rivals, which seem to be happening. Joe Biden is imploding over the massive corruption of his family political machine. Bernie Sanders is effectively out based on his age-related medical issues. Kamala Harris has been a goner ever since Rep. Tulsi Gabbard excoriated her in the second Democratic debate over her appalling record as a prosecutor. The rest are pipsqueaks. Neither Warren nor her campaign operatives mentioned any of that, but her San Diego stop showed pretty clearly that the Democrats are consolidating, and Warren is attempting to move toward the center as Trump's likeliest opponent.
All the same, she still has some weaknesses, and it's doubtful she can beat him.

so did I read it correctly the rally was in California so I can’t see that it would be too surprising that she had a good showing... I am unsure how she will play in the midwest and deep south.
Not surprising given the fact that Bernie Sanders is out of commission with a bad heart and Joe Biden’s ‘pay to play’ scandal is the only thing in the news about Joe.
Unless another Leftist Democrat Candidate moves into the vacuum created by Sanders and Biden’s problems, Pocahantas Warren looks to be the Democrat Candidate.
Tulsi took out the black female candidate. Next step would be to appeal to Chief Gray Beaver for the VP slot, as an authentic "woman of color" to balance out the ticket.
Watch the next debate. See if Tulsi goes after whoever is Warren's main rival, while leaving Warren alone.

She sucks. She can do a creditable job of pretending not to suck for a while, but in the final analysis, she sucks like a black hole of psychic nothingness. Trump will destroy her. I get to watch.

Massachusetts liberals don’t win national contests. The list is long and undistinguished. Ted Kennedy, Dukakis, Kerry, Romney. Won’t play in the south or Midwest.
Sorry but it won’t be close. Looks at her crowd even the 15k claimed one and tell me, what is the makeup?
Her crowds are more white than any republican... she’s a non starter, as a Democrat.
Her backing is primarily among over educated white guilt folks...
She has no support or enthusiasm in the base... she’s the olde white guilt hippy candidate.
I almost feel bad about how much I naturally dispise Liz Warren.
Take a look at those 10k plus crowds. They are whiter than any republican rally. Warren is a non starter. She can’t win 10 states... she’s the old white guilt overeducated hippy candidate.. zero support outside that... she will get a full 2-3 point lower turnout among blacks than Hillary, if not even less.
She’s a non starter... the Democrats are stillborn this cycle and know it.
