Rep. Adam Schiff and the Democrat mob are NOT sending actual subpoenas to the Trump people. They are sending letters.
Former Assistant US Attorney Andrew McCarthy explained the difference on Hannity’s radio and TV shows tonight.
According to McCarthy, subpoenas are legal actions to be complied with, except for certain privileges. Letters are just a committee threats.
I knew about the irrelevant demand letters - I didn’t realize they were referring to them as subpoenas...I guess w/o the House floor vote, they don’t have subpoena horsepower so they send out phishing spam notes...they must really be afraid of giving the Repubs subpoena power which would happen if they did it according to the rules...

These seditious DIMs need their a**es handed to them. They are so disgusting in their depravity and idiocy.
Obviously, anyone who got one of these letters would either have enough legal education to know it is worthless, or else they would go to a lawyer and seek help and then they would be told that it is worthless.
So it follows that the purpose of the letters isn’t really to get to get anyone to follow the dictates of the letter. No one is going to do that.
The point of the letters is to get the media all spun up and shout “These are subpoenas for gosh sakes! Republicans are ignoring these?! Now we really need to impeach Trump!”
Congress and the media are playing games in order to persuade the public into a political position which is advantageous to the Left. Only thing is ... it’s not working. Normal people understand the game.

It’s pretty scary that the public is ignorant enough to allow themselves to be manipulated like this. But then this is the whole idea behind the indoctrination agenda.
The rats want Trump’s Ukrainian docs. I don’t think they’ll like it when he turns over a pile of docs related to US politicians corruption with Ukraine.
Of course, they’ll just claim those are conspiracy theories. Especially the Hunter Biden hooker tapes. Those will make claims in the “pee dossier” look like an episode of Captain Kangaroo.
I agree. It seems with each passing day these people are becoming more emboldened to carry out their mission, the law be damned. They really don’t realize what kind of nightmare they will be living in if they overthrow a duly elected president. I really think that, in their feeble minds, that they can unlawfully get the president thrown out of office and everything will be just fine and people will continue to go on with their lives without missing a beat. They underestimate us.

But standing committees do have subpoena power, so why not use it? Well, because subpoenas get litigated in court when the people or agencies on the receiving end object. Democrats want to have an impeachment show — um, inquiry — on television; they do not want to defend its bona fides in court.
They certainly do not want to defend their letter. The Democrats’ media scribes note the chairmen’s admonition that any failure by Pompeo to comply “shall constitute evidence of obstruction of the House’s impeachment inquiry.” What a crock.
And the traitorous Demonicrats are conducting their 2020 political campaign with taxpayers' dollars.
The coffin door is self closing on the democrat party.
