The ocean is not at all forgiving and you won’t get a second chance. Those who forget do so at their peril. I’m reminded of a couple of teenage boys who decided to go out fishing from the Jupiter inlet in the teeth of a storm several years ago. They were never found although their capsized boat was found a couple of hundred miles north of Jupiter some days later.
Locals could have told him....assuming they ever listen to locals.
