Not a bad thing if folks don't know. But it is a pretty significant day in that, 18 US servicemen lost their lives trying to help 3rd world, ungrateful savages because of misguided policies by a globalist President and his successor.

Gary Gordon and Randall Shughart were subsequently awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor their actions and sacrifice.

But, more importantly, I wonder if the people of Minnesota are aware of what happened that day, what led up to it and how globalist Presidents have allowed Minneapolis to be invaded by those very same people and who have elected one of those very same people to represent them in the House of Representatives.

I'd say that most have no idea of the sacrifices that were made that day. And if they were told, they wouldn't care.

For clarification purposes...... When I reference “most”, I mean the Liberals/Dems of Minnesota-the US-any/all members of Congress that support the immigration model that has been tearing this country apart for decades.

The Democrats now LOVE radical Muslims. Shock troops to break up the old guard. Like Merkel is doing in Germany. Now they vote for them for political office. Witness Tlaib, Ilhan Omar.

Some of the refugees that flip in and out of our country to go back and help the terrorists probably are living a life far above their previous one in Somalia.

Thanks for posting this. Since Omar’s comments on Mogadishu, I’ve often wondered how many of her relatives were involved in killing our soldiers. She was born in Mogadishu.

blackhawk down I believe that was? If so- that was pretty infamous- on the president’s part- I think a lot of folks remember that, and do care- maybe, just maybe, even some democrats- but you’re right- not many democrats would care because it was lead by their beloved president-

For those that didn’t live through it watching it on live TV=- there is a movie about it- Very sad case indeed- and if i remember right- during that period- clinton had several chances to take bin laden out and he refused to do so

No telling how many, but damned sure everyone of them was cheering them on. That’s for sure. You know, because....Some people did something.

The public number, if I remember correctly, was somewhere around 1000. The Ranger unit that was there was Bravo Co, 3/75 Ranger Regiment. A friend of mine was assigned to that unit shortly after it returned from Somalia. The word on the street was that the number was probably closer to 5000. The Rangers, CAG, Blackhawks, and Little Birds wreaked havoc on that city once the shooting started. The 160th helicopters had Mini-Guns and the HumVees had M2, .50 cals. One of those round can go through 8 people, I think.

Thank you for posting this! I can’t believe how our media fails every year, to remember the day we lost 18 brave warriors. Wasn’t this the biggest firefight since the Vietnam war? Sgt. Dominic Pilla, an Army Ranger, was from the town next to me. I was pleased to see they recently named a local middle school after him. I wish more Americans knew, or cared more, about this tragic day.

I remember that day very well.

We were in the day room watching CNN with out Battalion Commander and Sergeant Major, and seeing the vermin dragging one of our guys through the streets while others were dancing on one of the fowned helicopters, I turned and asked the Colonel “When are we going Sir?”, and the Colonel turned to me and said “Not soon enough”.

We were pissed.

To this day, I think that bastard clinton should have been made to pay dearly for that clusterf*ck.

I think a lot of folks got access to it through the movie blackhawk down- thankfully it was made- to show what a tragedy that whole thing was- and what a powder keg it was over there- The movie still comes up every now and again on a few channels- which is good to keep the memory of those folks who died alive- What happened to them was pure tragedy- and shocked the world when it happened- just like our soldiers in Iraq who were dragged through the streets and put on display by animals there- Both Mogadishu and iraq the animals desecrated our soldier’s dead bodies-

The movie is a powerful reminder of how dangerous it is to stand up for this country- and defend it- and what great sacrifices our soldiers make for our country- Hopefully they show the movie more often- more people need to know-
