This is a whole different level than the museum I work at, no doubt.
But I’m happy where I work, watching it grow and meeting the people who visit - - especially the vets and those currently serving.

It’s growing by leaps and bounds and I know that the vets love seeing the old stuff and telling stories. :)

I love hearing their stories.
Imagine the stories the people at this museum will hear from visitors who knew some of the MOH recipients, or from some of the recipients who visit the museum.

I personally think they should have found a site in or near Kennesaw Georgia. That town ( formerly known as Big Shanty) was where the Andrews Raid began on April 12, 1862. It was six members of this raiding party who were the first recipients of the Medal of Honor, awarded on March 25, 1863

Arlington TX is nearly a mid-point between the East and West coasts. Only about 15-20 miles from DFW airport and easily accessible via several Interstate Hwys. (20, 30, 35 and 45).
