Responding to President Trumps charge that the whistleblower complaint form had been altered to allow hearsay information, the inspector general for the intelligence community said in a statement late Monday that the whistleblower whose complaint ignited an impeachment inquiry claimed to have firsthand knowledge of misconduct by the president.
But that claim appears to conflict with documents sent to Congress and the director of national intelligence, Fox News reported.
The declassified whistleblower complaint sent to Congress last week stated: I was not a direct witness to most of the events described. However, I found my colleagues accounts of these events to be credible because, in almost all cases, multiple officials recounted fact patterns that were consistent with one another.

Yeah, thats the ticket!
Hearsay. Usually inadmissible in court. But this is Congress were talking about.
Guess a special counsel now needs to be appointed to look into the IG and the whistleblower!
most
Its so obvious the IG is a Rat stooge.
Bwahahahahaha! Uh, you are aware they’re trying to take Trump down right? No look see will be forthcoming. But, you knew that despite our desire to have it happen. Maybe an /S?
:-)
This is degenerating to the point where none of the coup plotters can keep their stories straight.
Excellent!
The IG is not making such a claim, he is reporting what the WB stated, which is quoted in the article, but who also checked BOTH boxes stating that they had both firsthand and hearsay information:
“The IG said the whistleblower stated on an initial form Aug. 12 that he or she possessed both first-hand and other information.”
Michael Atkinson is an Obama appointee. Deep state all over him.
Ok, but can we keep the Dwarf (Adam Schiff) tossing? Without it the ratings will sink!
This is ridiculous. Trump released the fn Transcript and these is nothing there. That fact being completely ignored. The worthless GOP should be screaming this:
Think that will slow down the cascade of tax dollars being wasted on it? Uh, nope.
Stating it doesn’t make it so right? “How dare they!” LOL!
.... Note ..... If you read his statement ..... He says that he was not a direct witness to .... "Most" ... Of the events .... Which indicates he was witness to at least one of the events .....
The ‘first-hand’ knowledge seems to be an analysis of aides reactions to his query on the matter. But the aides all remained UNNAMED, anonymous and hearsay. This is what the ‘first hand’ box was checked for. Then another version of the complaint showed the box unchecked.
Well, according to un-named anonymoose sources, the transcripts were only released after they were altered to fit Trump’s narrative and all the note takers were vanished. Or something. No sense banging our heads against the brick wall. Nope. Just get the sledge hammer out. :-)
UNAUTHORIZED, UNCLEARED person or persons are listening in on Trump's phone calls and they're trying to CONCEAL this fact by initially claiming the 'whistleblower' had SECOND-HAND knowledge of the contents of the call, whereas in reality this person is LISTENING TO TRUMP'S PHONE CALLS FROM THE WHITE HOUSE!
Could even be someone in the UKRAINE who gave a transcript of the call to a DemonicRat in the U.S.
So, either way laws were broken by this 'whistleblower' and he or she is a criminal. If Trump's calls are being listened to from a REMOTE LOCATION, it's time to raid George Soros house, John Brennan's basement, or Obama and Jarrett's basement. A LEAK might have come from the Ukrainian gov't, however.
THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES HAS EVERY RIGHT TO KNOW WHO THE WHISTLEBLOWER IS AND I AM TIRED OF PELOSI AND SCHIFF TREATING TRUMP LIKE A SECOND CLASS CITIZEN!!!
