what in Gods name would you do in an office full of people if they were all talking to their computers simultaneously? Its totally impractical.
people in offices instead of cubicles, and close the door.
In the beginning, I thought this was hyperbole, but not any more:
Head of State - Chris Rock movie
...but the other 60% are the gun owners of America.
He is gone now...

“GOVERNOR ASKS FBI [to] PROBE MASON.”
I took typing LONG before that; before electricity.
(Sure had a nice girl/boy ratio there!)
Those were the days!
How DARE you post actual data on FR!!
bump
You just answered your own question.
Because Biden is an idiot with plenty of blackmailable baggage, he's a perfect catspaw. What's not to love?
Fixed it.
I say the 40% figure is way low. Most working class do not vote for the Cheap Labor Express GOPe. Maybe this time they will turn out for Trump.
His obit doesn’t mention that it was Governor Louie Nunn of Kentucky who had the police place him under surveillance and subsequently have him arrested. The one message I retained from his class was: “Think for yourself. Don’t be a lemming.” Of course, the press at the time was very conservative, and fearful of radicals overthrowing the government due to the anti-Vietnam movement. There was a lot of tension around. But, he really didn’t try to indoctrinate us.
[I have given this more thoughts.]
If Trump and us Deplorables are (were) the rebel that tried to take out the King (UniParty and Established Bureaucratic Gubmint, add whatever you like), it seems clear to me it is NOT going to be solved by an “easy” election or two.
I sure hope we are not Don Quixote tilting at windmills.... yet the alternatives is do nothing, just going with the flow. It is unthinkable. I’d rather go down fighting.
I won’t disagree with you. I also won’t belabor the point here, just going to link you to the ‘peasant’ thread here:

and say that I think that in the end, this is going to be for all the marbles, and the winner is going to write the history books.
The question is, who is that going to be?
All of this...has nothing to do with his personality. It actually has very little to do with him, other than he represents us.
It is us they hate. Socialists have an agenda to take this country to socialism as quickly as possible. They have been working on doing that for decades. Those of us that do NOT want socialism have mostly been silent and let them put their agenda together with little serious resistance.
We were so silent they thought our numbers were few, that we were just a few oddballs that would be easily dealt with if they needed to at some point.
There are far more of us than they ever imagined, we were silent but our anger and frustration has been growing. When Trump announced he was running for president we saw our chance to not only stop Hillary but to also push back the tide of socialism. They laughed, since they thought we were just a few oddballs they had no concern that we could elect anyone. Especially not Trump.
When we proved them wrong they became very angry. How dare we? Trump has done his best to stop their agenda, and in a lasting way by his judicial appointments. They are having what is essentially a toddler meltdown.
Now they believe we are nothing without Trump so he must be removed. They think their agenda will get back on track and all will be well with the world. Make no mistake, they hate us with a passion. They know we are here now, and they know we want to stop them. With or without Trump we are the enemy, far more so than Trump because he is just one man. Without our support he is powerless.
It is us they hate and fear.
To reuse a phrase from WWII:
“I’m afraid we have awakened a sleeping giant.”
