It should by now be obvious to the meanest intelligence that the Democrats are determined to impeach President Trump with or without credible evidence that he has committed any act resembling “high crimes and misdemeanors.” The “whistleblower complaint” that Nancy Pelosi used as the pretext for launching her ersatz impeachment inquiry contains little but hearsay and fabrication, while her claim that it proves Trump has “violated the Constitution” fails the laugh test. In the end, however, impeachment is less about offenses committed by the president than the desire of the Washington establishment to put down what they see as a peasants’ revolt.
Impeachment is, in other words, an attempt to restore the old order that the voters overturned in 2016. It seeks to annul that election and return us to the nascent totalitarianism of the Obama era, an incipient autocracy the Democrats expected to be nurtured during the presidency of Hillary Clinton. Thus, when the hoi polloi got above themselves and put Donald Trump in the White House, his removal from office became the primary objective of Washington’s self-appointed Optimates. They began planning Trump’s impeachment before he was inaugurated because he is the leader of the insurrection, and they know full well that it can’t be put down until he is gone.
House Democrats must impeach the president despite the near impossibility of securing a conviction in the Senate. Indeed, their need to do so is more urgent now than ever because of the booming Trump economy and the weakness of their Democratic presidential candidates. As Rep. In this regard this is almost identical to what the establishment is doing in Europe with Brexit.
Think about it. With Brexit the voters passed a referendum to go and the European deep state have pulled every dirty trick to tie Brexit up in knots. Same thing in the USA. The dastardly Democrats and their deep state storm trooper, along with the fifth column MSM, are trying everything to overturn the 2016 election!
Or any evidence at all. I am still waiting to hear what "evidence" they have that would qualify an impeachment to go forward. Did it ever occur to these people that the constant barrage against this POTUS, the First Lady and the rest of his family (including, at times, his teenage son), would actually end up making him and the rest of his family sympathetic to the rest of us normal people?
I told my husband, a couple of years ago, that I thought Trump would beat whoever was the Dem candidate by more than he beat HRC. I am still believing that.

Faux News is blathering that the polls are showing republican voters want an impeachment. Oh, really? Anyone seeing that?
First, Biden was not and is not Trump’s opponent in the race for POTUS. Trump has no opponent until the DNC formally announces their candidate. They haven’t yet so that reason for impeachment or investigation or inquiry or whatever they want to call this sham.
Second, if Trump knew of violations of a government official and did not ask for an investigation then he’d be in trouble. Of course, with the demwits, no matter what Trump does is earth shattering.
They are trying to put down the revolt by throwing gasoline on it. What they should’ve done, if they were smart, would be to appear to work with Trump and let him get some of his initiatives past, while secretly undermining him on others kind of like what Paul Ryan did. But this I think could be very risky for our modern day aristocracy as it just may tip us into a full blown revolution. If I were them I would call off any impeachment.
