Fantastic example of how you have to watch the pea under the thimble.

People are not accusing Hunter Biden of somehow breaking Ukranian law during his time "at" Burisma. They are saying that Burisma was being investigated for a potential crime, and then hired Hunter onto their board, and then Joe Biden got the prosecutor looking into Burisma fired.

IN fact the article linked under the words "walking back" in the above paragraph is a Bloomberg piece which lays out that precise timeline, despite pretending that that somehow exonerates the Bidens from the accusation of conflict of interest.

It sure as hell seems to me that their money on Hunter Biden was well spent. They got the vice president of the United States to fire the Ukrainian prosecutor for them. Rather obvious.

a series of wild claims, including accusing Biden of pressuring the then-Ukrainian president in 2016 to fire the country’s top prosecutor—at the time, Viktor Shokin

How did Solomon get Joe Biden to brag about this "wild scheme"?

Most Americans are so damaged that they can’t see that the Ds and the media create their own facts and reality. And the sad part is that there are more of them than us.

Diversion.

The question was NEVER if Hunter Biden violated any laws.

The questions were concerning (a) an investigation of a company on whose board of directors sat Hunter Biden. As a director - and given he was their only for the political influence that bought the company - Hunter Biden unlikely knew what practices of the company, Burisma, had got them in hot water.

The QUESTION was with that investigation of Burisma pending, and with Hunter Biden on its board, what was the role of Joe Biden, Hunter’s father, in getting the prosecutor managing that investigation fired. Whether the facts are only what gives the appearance of impropriety by Biden senior, the question remains a legitimate question.

To suggest that Trump or Guliani sought to know if Hunter Biden broke any law in Ukraine is a smokescreen, diverting from the real issue, and pretends Trump and Guliani had a question they in fact did not have.

Apparently Maxwell Tani hasn’t heard the audio of Biden actually bragging about it. Max is right in so far as in Ukraine it is not illegal to brag, but so what?

Hope Max sees the golfing in the Hamptons video of Biden with two Burisma execs he denies knowledge of.

Like Obama denying knowledge of his neighbor and supporter and fellow Joyce Foundation boardmember Bill Ayers.

I believe Lutsenko is VP Biden's guy.

He replaced the one who was going after Hunter's meal ticket.

Giuliani says Pompeo told him he was "aware" of outreach to Ukrainians

Here are the exact words from the prosecutor forced to step down by Biden. I have selected the key parts from Viktor Shokin’s sworn affidavit which he outlines:

“(c)Therefor, it is clear to me that certain US officials from President Obama’s administration, in particular, the US Vice-President Joe Biden, directly manipulated the political leadership of Ukraine on false pretexts, in order to prevent DF [Dmytro Firtash] from returning to Ukraine, as they were so concerned about him re-establishing public life there.”

“(d) DF did not travel to Ukrain. Vice President Joe Biden did. Where he met with President Poroshenko on 6 December and addresses the Rada on 8 December.”

“(g) This instance of interference in Ukraine’s affairs by US officials to achieve US objective (barring DF’s return to public life in Ukraine) was closely followed by another instance of interference, namely forcing Poroshenko to dismiss me because my actions as General Prosecutor did not suit the interests of the US Vice-President Biden and the persons connected to him.”

“6. The circumstances of my dismissal were that I tendered my resignation to the Kada at the request of President Poroshenko. Poroshenko asked me to resign due to pressure from the US Presidential administration, in particular from Joe Biden, who was the US Vice-President. Biden was threatening to withhold USD$ 1 billion in subsidies to Ukraine until I was removed from office. After I yielded to the President’s request and submitted my voluntary resignation, Poroshenko commented about it in the media. He said that I had carried out a colossal amount of work as General Prosecutor, which is my work on reforming different bodies of the prosecutor’s office, on creating the Specialized Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office, which enabled the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine to conduct legal work, and on creating self- governing prosecution authorities.”

“7. The official reason put forward for my dismissal was that I had allegedly failed to secure the public’s trust. Poroshenko and other state officials, including representatives of the US presidential administration, had never previously had any complaints about my work, however. There were no grievances against me or any allegations that had I committed any corruption-related (or, indeed any other) criminal offenses. Biden never stated anything of the kind either. Furthermore, all sanction in respect of Yanukovich and his supporters remained in force and were not lifted whilst I occupied the post. Moreover, these sanctions were extended.”

“8. The truth is that I was forced out because I was leading a wide-ranging corruption probe into Burisma Holdings (“Burisma”), a natural gas firm active in Ukraine, and Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was a member of the Boaard of Directors. I assume Burisma, which was connected with gas extraction, had the support of the US Vice-President Joe Biden because his son was on the Board of Directors.

“9. On several occasions President Poroshenko asked me to have a look at the criminal case aganst Burisma and consider the possiblility of winding down the investigative actions in respect of this company, but I refused to close this investigation. Therefore, I was forced to leave office, under direct and intense pressure from Joe Biden and the US administration. In my conversation with Poroshenko at the time, he was emphatic that I should cease my investigations regarding Burisma. When I did not, he said that the US (via Biden) were refusing to release the USD$ 1 billion promised to Ukraine. He said that he had no choice, therefore, but to ask me to resign.”

“10. When Porochenko asked me to resign, the way that he put it to me was that he was making it for the good of our country, and that I should agree, also as an act of patriotism. I agreed to tender my resignation on this basis.

“c) It was not Poroshenko being patriotic, it was Poroshenko submitting to the demands of state officials from the US administration of President Obama for reasons of political economy and the personal interests of the US Vice President Biden, amongst others”

####################################################

After reading that affidavit, I wonder why other FReepers have not put out those words like I have?

“I am disturbed that a reporter at a purportedly non-partisan publication is pumping out pieces that appear to be heavily slanted towards one side of the ideological spectrum, and I am especially disturbed that these stories appear to be repeatedly leaked to a close informal adviser of President Trump (Sean Hannity) ahead of their publication

Bwahahaha. Just like it's a coincidence that Adam Schiff tweets about the Ukraine-Trump conversation weeks before the story breaks, and that Hillary shows up on the scene a few days before Pelosi 'officially launches' a probe.

Journalists supposedly spend their time seeking out 'anonymous leakers' and that doesn't appall them. But in this age of social marketing, they are appalled that one reporter promotes himself. And of course, the allegation that Sean Hannity is an "adviser" to Trump - clearly this anonymous reporter isn't non-partisan.

John Solomon truly deserves the Pulitzer Paize.

Sarah Carter too.

But the rules for the Pulitzer state that the reporter’s work must damage Republicans, not Democrats.

The question is whether the Biden’s violated American laws—not Ukranian laws.

That's right folks. Don't believe your own lying eyes and ears watching that recording of Biden bragging about having said prosecutor fired using shake down tactics of withholding a billion dollars of aid. Only listen to us. We have many shiny objects to bedazzle you with. After all, this is only the Ukrainian Prosecutor General making a series of wild claims...
