Did The Inspector General’s Office Help The ‘Whistleblower’ Try To Frame Trump?
The Federalist ^ | 9/30/2019 | margot cleveland

The ‘whistleblower’ was not acting alone, and members of the intelligence community inspector general’s office were likely providing an assist in the hoax attempt to bury President Trump.

After President Donald Trump released the transcript of his July 25, 2019, telephone conversation with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, the left’s “whistleblower” plot began to crumble. No, Trump didn’t condition foreign subsidies on Ukraine investigating Hunter Biden, son of the former vice president and presidential candidate Joe Biden. And no, Trump didn’t raise the question some eight times.

Then came the declassification of the “whistleblower’s” actual complaint against the president, which made clear the still-unnamed intelligence officer was peddling nothing but gossip and hearsay, seasoned with several factual falsehoods. This further exposed the Ukraine Purse Strings Hoax as the Resistance’s sequel to the failed Russia collusion hoax.

To fully grasp the depths of the deception and duplicity, however, requires a familiarity with the governing whistleblower laws. Once those laws are understood, the latest attempt by the Deep State to take down our duly elected president become even more obvious. It also becomes clear that the “whistleblower” was not acting alone, and members of the intelligence community inspector general’s office were likely providing an assist in the attempt to bury Trump. So here’s your lawsplainer.

According to Law, This Is Not an ‘Urgent Concern’ On October 20, 1998, President Bill Clinton signed into law the “Intelligence Community Whistleblower Protection Act of 1998,” or ICWPA. This statute provides a mechanism for individuals in the intelligence community to share classified information with congressional intelligence committees. But—and significantly, as we shall see—the statute, by its terms, only applies to “a complaint or information with respect to an urgent concern.”

As the CIA falls under the jurisdiction of the executive office - can’t the President just shut them down? (I know it can’t be that simple = but it seems to me like the power should be there)

This one is going to boomerang

Get the distinct impression that this was part of a White House counter intelligence operation to.uncover and expose spies and leakers. This would explain the confidence the Democrats had in the contents of the transcript as well as why the actual transcript was isolated on a secure server with limited and recorded access.

Could get very interesting

,
IG Michael K Atkinson is Dirty as they come.

The ICIG is not there to Police the President. They work for the President.
They are supposed to Police agency members, like the CIA.

The theory that Trump speaking to foreign leaders is a campaign violation (which is policed by the FEC) is crazy and long disproved.

This guy goes back to Strzok and Page, and Yates - and Andrew Weismann.

There’s a Corrupt Committee our there in the Senate with Dirty Mark Warner (using Spy Apps to communicate with Russia) and Dirty Richard Burr. That Committee had to confirm Atkinson. It’s possible one of the Corrupt recommended him. Committee chairman often recommend nominees.

Atkinson has no legal argument, this is ugly Coup attempt.

It seems like the Media, Hollywood, the Democrats, Hostile Nations (Iran, Chfna, Russia, etc.) and the entire Federal Bureaucracy and Intelligence Agencies all hate Trump because he loves America and fights for the best for the nation, not a globalist Communist police state.

YES! My first reaction when I heard the story... a credible urgent concern? Hearsay evidence? Sure...

Besides, there is no law that authorizes the Intel Community to pass judgement on actions or decisions of the POTUS. This whole production is a farce, only possible with the assistance of a traitorous media.

It took 3.5 years (and counting) for IG Horowitz to report on a Coup against the President of the United States, and phones were destroyed, and servers were Bleach-bit, but IG Michael Atkinson did this in 30 days?

He ignored FEC rulings and DoJ policy to make his little Whistleblower work.

And, as this article points out so well, he ignored the charter and authority of his office. He tries to sell that he reluctantly did this, after jumping shark after shark and ignoring ruling after ruling!

This is Rod Rosenstein all over again. Schiff, Burr, and Warner have made it clear, his only value is being on the inside, so he does bad acting to act as if his crazy, circuitous, obstacle course was mandated.

You can draw a line from Sally Yates to this Michael K Atkinson.

We know our country and liberty are truly in deep trouble, when the CIA and democratic candidates are doing the heavy lifting for the Putin and the Kremlin, in taking down Putin’s worst enemy.

Some for money, others for pure belief and love for anti-American left wing ideology.

In principle, and obviously under older meaning of the letter, all of those involved are guilty of both sedition, and treason, as this coup effort has involved multiple joint efforts with some of our most dangerous adversaries on Earth.

Wow, I know I am taking Reagan out of pure context, but “government isn’t the answer to the problem, government is the problem.”

The statement could be correct, that we will be very fortunate if liberty survives in a bulkenized America at this point.

Can anyone even imagine how our country survives this anti-God anti-American left wing onslaught after Trump is gone...

The left’s young aren’t going away, the baby-boom generation is, and the left is screaming what they intend to do with us!

When I heard Atkinson speak, I had no confidence in him. He sounded like a wimp and coward, and didn’t seem to know the Whistleblowers Act contents.

Time to clean another inhouse swamp.

Some of us will not go along with the burning of the Constitution we are sworn to protect, against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

It will not. Nor will we. They intend to exterminate us. And history has proven that every Country the Left takes over, a blood bath follows. A few understand, most do not. Most, like the Jews in Germany during the 1930s refuse tho believe what their eyes and ears tell them. But that is o.k., the Left will show them the error of their thinking.

Could it be that this deep state business has been going on for a very long time, in particular, as far back as the JFK RFK, and MLK assassinations? Pray for our President.

It definitely sounded like he was out of his league. I think they led him to the conclusions they wanted—after changing the law around a bit to suit their purposes. Now any third-hand rumor submitted by anonymous whistleblowers can be ruled serious and urgent so they can brush aside presidential executive privilege.
