World-famous 16-year-old Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg has thrown out a passionate challenge on climate change from the podium at the UN: "How dare you?"
She has also informed world leaders, especially President Trump, that she and her millions of followers will not be silenced.
In a sad and embarrassing scene, she has shown what it takes to silence her: Take away her script and ask her a question.
It was a softball question: What kind of message would you like to give to world leaders? After some fumbling, she came up with "We have had enough," and "Would anyone else like to answer that question?"
To me, she looks like a frightened little girl, and it would be cruel to interrogate her in front of a big audience, especially in a foreign language.
But there are a lot of questions to ask the school-ditching protesters who are blocking traffic and the politicians calling for a Green New Deal. For example:
What did people do before we learned to pump oil out of the ground? (They killed whales.)
What do people do for heat when they have no electricity or natural gas? (They cut down trees to burn.)
Where did Greenland get its name? (It used to be green.)
Do you eat fruits like bananas and oranges? If so, how do they get to you? (On ships, planes and trucks fueled by the products of Big Oil.)
What raw materials do plants use to make food? (Carbon dioxide.)

And a Nobel Prize grant will go a long way to setting her up in a life of luxury. Not as dumb as she looks.

Perfect!
2. Define the correct humidity range for the planet.
3. Define the correct mean sea level for the planet.
4. Define the correct amount of precipitation for the planet.
5. Define the correct makeup of the atmosphere.
6. Define the correct amount of sea ice at the N/S poles.
7. Define/explain past glaciation and subsequent warming without any input from humans.
Her indoctrination “school” and single mom who uses her, have really done an incredible brainwashing job on her.
IIRC, Hogg has chosen the perverted lifestyle of homosexuality.
Hey Greta here's a child smaller than you actually working in a land fill.
Talk about the reality of actually losing your childhood.
And here you are complaining.
How dare you.
What the hell is she even talking about? How dare us what? How dare we not invent cars that run by cold fusion? How dare we not create giant CO2 filters that hang in the sky? She needs a lesson in the free market. The first person that invents clean renewable energy as powerful as gasoline is going to make Jeff Bezos look like a pauper by comparison. We don’t this little fraud or AOC demanding it as if it’s being held back.
Don’t forget not having to go to class!
she best not come to my country for her college education ..
another cupid stunt
The difference is that kid in the landfill looks happy.
Shes off to rant against Canada now and then on to the rest of the world.

Do we have to wait for favorable trade winds to ship her ass back to Sweden via schooner?

And that poor little kid has a smile on her face. Probably a much better adjusted kid then Greta von Glacier.

I heard shes going to North Korea to rip down all their propaganda posters, then its off to Iran to demand human rights for women.
Are you sure his name wasn't Celsius?
“How dare you.”
From here on out, I can see that phrase being enshrined in any satirical comment - whether the weather (cough) or any other crack-brained liberal scheme.
