DOJ employee in February 2017 predicted resistance by whistle-blowing, leaking to the press, and lodging internal complaints
What is happening now to President Trump was predictable. The plans were laid in plain sight, including the use of whistleblowers to disrupt the administration.
There was plenty of advance warning of various attempts to set up grounds for the impeachment of President Trump.
Consider this excerpt from an article published in Vanity Fair on February 1, 2017, twelve days after Trumps inauguration :
"Others, however, view resistance as a part of the job. 'Policy dissent is in our culture,' one diplomat in Africa, who signed the letter circulating among foreign diplomats, told The New York Times. We even have awards for it, in reference to the State Departments Constructive Dissent award. One Justice Department employee told the Post, 'Youre going to see the bureaucrats using time to their advantage,' and added that 'people here will resist and push back against orders they find unconscionable,' by whistle-blowing, leaking to the press, and lodging internal complaints. Others are staying in contact with officials appointed by President Obama to learn more about how they can undermine Trumps agenda and attending workshops on how to effectively engage in civil disobedience, the Post reports."
Let me emphasize that again: whistle-blowing, leaking to the press, and lodging internal complaints.
Mollie Hemingway of The Federalist noticed the trend back in the beginning. A few days before the inauguration, she wrote:
"Dwight Eisenhower warned that if we didnt stay vigilant, the military-industrial complex would start creeping into politics with pernicious motives all its own.
"The intelligence communitys war of leaks against Trump before hes even taken office is just the latest questionably politicized action in the decades since Eisenhowers farewell address. And its safe to say that the intelligence community pushing unproven and absurd allegations about a president-elects sexual perversions is probably way worse than anything Ike imagined.'
Far from discrediting Trump, this paints a worrisome portrait of the deep state gone rogue, desperate to stop a man who is an outsider to Washington.
A warning issued to Trump to beware of ruffling the feathers of the intelligence community was issued by Chuck Schumer:
Let me tell you, you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you, Schumer told MSNBCs Rachel Maddow.
Remember, this was before Trump was inaugurated.
NeverTrumper David Frum wrote a tweet that said, CIA message to Trump: you mess with us, get ready for a leakstorm of Biblical proportions.
Banana republic coup. Nothing more. Nothing less.
By the way,I really like Mollie Hemingway.
Jefferson was right.
It’s time.
hearsay cannot get one a Parking of Jaywalking ticket.
.... but here the unelected DEEP STATE takes out an
ELECTED PRESIDENT for THREE (3) years.
Smarmy Scott Pelley had the breakthrough story this morning:
The whistleblower is under “federal protection,” fearing for his life.
Yeah, that jumped out at me too.
There were meetings in a church on Sunday evenings after the 2016 election on how to “stop Trummp.”
I couldn’t find that article, but I did find this: https://www.politico.com/story/2017/01/ukraine-sabotage-trump-backfire-233446
Why? Hillary is not President.
I don't think he got the information from 10 or 12 people. I think there were two or 3 people at the most putting the complaint together.
Everything in the report was known and stored someplace BEFORE the phone call.
Guiliani's trips etc were all in the record. Rudy said he left an in-depth paper trail.
I think we have a hacker, an attorney and someone who participated in furnishing the President with "cliff notes" prior to his phone call. In other words, he got set up.
Comey and other were planting stories in the partisan press to instigate investigations that were base on lies and he was not alone.
Same shat different day.
We need to name and memos behind the partisan change in the “whistleblower rules” to permit hearsay. The change to the rules was made days before the “whistle” was blown.
It certainly seems like the rules were changed specifically so this charge could be made. So what discussions led to the change? FOIA requests are needed. There is no reason for them to be “secret”.
I agree...
>>The whistleblower is under federal protection, fearing for his life.
Is he afraid he’ll commit suicide?
Exactly. Who instituted the change and who signed off on it. Those are the deep state rats that need to be flushed out.
Did Pelosi get CC’ed on those communications?
How is this all going to end?
In my personal experience, I can imagine that Kennedy had talks with Krushchev, and Clinton with Boris Yeltsin. Franklin Roosevelt had talks with Stalin. I don’t think any of them would want their conversations on front pages of the press. They worked out deals, signed treaties..came to an agreement. Schiff needs to slow down and trust the Commander in Chief to do the right thing.
My brother was in COURT, in Phoenix Arizona, and the prosecutor and defense lawyers both went OUT of the Chamber, and met with the Judge. The Judge said these word, OFF THE RECORD, I CAN’T SAY IT IN THE CHAMBER AS THE PAROLE SYSTEM WILL FORCE ME TO RULE IN THIS CASE ACCORDING TO ARIZONA LAW...BUT IF THE TWO OF YOU AGREE, LET’S DROP THE CHARGES, AND YOU CAN TAKE YOUR SON AND LEAVE THE STATE.
Point is, that in all branches of gov’t there has always been bartering, giving and offering deals. And the WHISTLEBLOWER is just chaff, it is of NO IMPORTANCE. It wasn’t treason. SChiff and Pelosi need to drop the charges and get back to working to fix the problems of the United States. The HOUSEHOLD of America is wanting our parents to stop this FIGHTING.
His lawyer said that reporting is false
